All I wanted in high school
Was to stay out of all the drama,
All the unrequited loves,
All the messy breakups...
I didn't want to get involved
In all of this love stuff.
I promised myself I wouldn't.
I didn't believe I'd meet someone
I could truly love in high school.
All the tears,
All the broken hearts...
I didn't want to take the chance.
So I made it one of my goals
To not get involved.
And I was doing well...
Until you came along,
And suddenly...
