So I made this in Ceramics 1, fall semester freshman year. Pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. It's the best piece to come out of that class. xD
The base for the top is the Chinese flag, and it was little stalks of bamboo and a figurine panda! And the sides are just stylized like bamboo stalks with panda carvings and hearts. =P
