Anyways, I went to that school-wide award thing. Pretty boring, as always. But all throughout, I was making comments to Courtney; like when Mr. Corti mentioned "outstanding students," I would add, "like Courtney Laux," and then when he said "teacher nominators," I said, "Mrs. Turbeville" (Courtney got her award from her).
Then we were saying how we should just sit out and not go down since we'd have to shake everyone's hand and everything. Or like, how we should go in the wrong year, so I could be a freshman or whatever. xD Then I was like, "When they ask for my name, I should totally be like, 'Batman.'" And if they questioned it, I could just go, "No. Batman." xP Some dude said his name was Tom Cruz. And then there were two people who said the same name consecutively, the announcer was so confused. =P
The actual thing wasn't too bad. I made Courtney go before me, so I could scream her name. =P I just shook a ton of hands. xD Then I got a fist bump from Mr. Shack! I feel special. =D And Mrs. Turbeville held her hand out too, so I went to shake it, but then she went to fist bump it, and we kept alternating until she just grabbed my (semi-curled) hand and shook it. It was literally probably the most awkward handshake in the history of Cal High. xD

Anyways, TA was boring. Handled everything by myself today; Robert showed up literally, the last minute of the period. Then, when the bell rang, he said, "Oh that was fast." I really wanted to punch him. No sh*t it was fast, you were here for a minute!!!
Then in chem, we had our lab final. I finished the first two labs, but literally spent 1/3 of my time that period was spent trying to get people to understand the first lab. So I was waiting for Mrs. Breton to give me a solution for the first lab (to test for a mixtures of unknowns) and then Sean comes up to me, and asks me for help, and so I figure, I'm waiting for Mrs. Breton, might as well. And then I get my unknown, and keep helping him, and pretty soon, about 1/4 of the class is gathered around me, listening. xD Ate up a TON of my time, but whatever. It was nice helping people, and Mrs. Breton was sort of standing there, smiling. And she said I'm a useful person to have in a class. =P Then after I finished the first lab, I helped people more, then I was just like, okay, I need to do this, so I finished the second lab like 10 minutes before the bell rang. By then, people were already cleaning up though. But I figure once I finish the third (and final) lab Friday, I can help people for the rest of that class, plus all of the class after that.
It was ridiculous though, even with all that helping people, I still finished most of the final, so I figure if I was mean and refused to help people, I would've finished the whole thing today. Which is weird, since it's pretty long and is supposed to take 3 days. But anyways, I got the first two labs (three experiments) totally perfect. No hash marks (deductions)! I was so proud of myself, it was actually sort of sad. xP Ah well, one lab to go. =D
Her solutions were pretty colors too; the first one I got was yellow, then the other two were a pale green and a nice red/pink. I'm waiting for a blue or purple. ;D
Physics was pretty easy; we just continued Castle #3. Alex, Brit, and I seriously had a food fest. I ate my Twix and brought out raspberries, which we dipped in Alex's caramel (we also dipped apples and M&Ms in caramel), then Brit had Razzles and pita chips too. It was pretty awesome. Every single time we're in physics, the three of us always have something to eat. xD
Lunch was pretty uneventful. Nothing out of the ordinary at least, although I did sing "Xiao Jiu Wo" with Hsiang.
French was spent in the lab, researching our business. We didn't do much, Sarah spent most of the time emailing/texting her friends, so I just put together most of the PowerPoint.
Then Brit and I basically just wrapped our whole boat frame in duct tape today; it was pretty amusing. We were talking about how like, by the time we were done, our boat could go across the Atlantic Ocean and still not leak. xD And she had this DELICIOUS lemon-raspberry cake. And cookies... ♥ Then we just lay on her bed and read books, since Alex is the clearest on our design, and we didn't want to screw anything up. xP
