Jaguars > Pumas (As Expected)

Anyways, TA today was actually pretty busy. Lots of phone calls and stuff. Courtney (Dearborn, not Laux) never showed up, so I was answering the calls, but Robert was reading his book in the corner (like always) so I'd get all the late slips too, but then Lois was like, "You know what? Don't do the counter any more. Make Robert get the counter." So yeah. Although I really don't mind... Ah well.

Chemistry was rather boring. We had a homework quiz, and I could've sworn I missed the second problem since I did it a totally different way than she did, but apparently it worked since I got the same answer. Oh well, not complaining. Then we didn't have any homework (test next class) so I wrote this page and a half "About Me" type thing. I think I found a new thing to do during boring periods in chem. xP

Brunch was pretty uneventful. Went around and talked to people. I think someone set off a stink bomb though, it was rather nasty.

I was there for about half of physics. During which we went over homework and discussed "Castle Lab #2," which I didn't have time to do because I had to leave for recruiting.

Iron Horse recruiting was way more successful. No one boo-ed us! xD So we got there about an hour before 8th grade lunch started, so we just hung around, practiced, and talked. Then I ran a lap around the track, and one around the field because I was feeling just really full of energy and everything. Not that many people watched our demos, but tons took flyers and we got WAY more interest than at Pine Valley. It was encouraging. Then I saw Sean (Vivian's brother) and Jiehee (Jung's sister). Jiehee got a ton of her friends to scream my name across the quad; it was pretty awesome. That's probably the most popular I've ever felt at a middle school, including my three years spent at one. =P I visited a ton of my teachers too. Ms. Brown wasn't there, which was sad, and I don't think Mrs. Keller remembered me clearly. But ah well. I had a conversation in French with Mme Prochnow; that was pretty cool. Then I visited Mrs. Goodhue (who apparently talked about me to her students after I left, like the usual, "Oh she was such a good student!" stuff) and Mrs. LaHive (who also said I was a "star student" to this lady who was talking to her at the time). So yeah, it was pretty nice. =]

We went to Subway and Cold Stone afterward and got some food/ice cream. It made me happy. Clarie and I shared a "Love It" size Berry Tart Yogurt with gummi bears. It was rather delicious. I still say my strawberry ice cream with graham cracker crust owns tough. =P Then afterward, we went back to Cal and just sort of hung out in the hallway in front of the guard room for a while, eating ice cream and talking and stuff. Then we went to Mr. J and asked for passes, and he was all like (with a smile), "Did you guys go to get lunch?" And we went, "Maaaaaaybe..." Aha, not that he really cares that much though, so it's all good.

We did absolutely nothing in French today. We're having a party with fruit tarts and eclairs and yummy stuff (on my birthday!). We went over our New Year's resolutions, which pretty much everyone didn't follow. xD Then somehow we got to talking about my age, and half the people were really surprised I was only fourteen, so I mentioned that my birthday was this month, which was slightly stupid of me, since Mme Goldin obviously asked when it was. Then when I told her, she announced it to the class, and was talking about how great it was that the class party was on my birthday. xP Ah well.

Not much happened after school. Although when Zach tried to poke me, I hid in the corner and sat on this switch box thing, and when he actually poked me, my left elbow just involuntarily jerked backwards and smashed into the wall. It was sort of amusing, but then it sort of hurt too. xD
