Excited For Parade!

Anyways, today was pretty uneventful.

TA was boring, I didn't answer a single call and only wrote one pass. xD Not that I'm complaining.

Mr. Shack wasn't there in trig today (we had a student teacher), but I finished all my homework that will be assigned this week. I'm proud of myself. Of course, Melanie thinks I'm crazy, but whatever. =P

I stole Hsiang's microphone during brunch and went around "interviewing" people. It was amusing. Apparently he had the mic to record stuff for the poetry project, but whatever.

English was RETARDED. She told us to start writing our essay for our assigned symbol in Lord of the Flies, which I totally BS-ed. My topic's the scar, and I know what it symbolizes (the evil/destruction wrought by mankind, duh) but there's literally NO evidence to support my thesis in the book. There's about a total of 3 quotes that I can incorporate reasonably (and none of them are actual evidence, more like BS evidence), and the rest of the quotes are like, "He looked round the scar." Oh yeah. "This shows his contemplation as to the defect upon the island, a microcosm for the world, and therefore suggests that he is pondering the effects and consequences of wreaking similar havoc upon his establish community." Yeah, no. So that was stupid.

Lunch was pretty boring. Didn't get lifted upside down or anything today though, which was good. It was POURING outside; sort of crazy if you think about it, since it's spring and all. But oh well.

Euro was amazingly boring. We did absolutely nothing. Shannie, Sophia, and I took a walk around campus and just talked. Too bad Mr. Lambert didn't put on a movie; that would have kept me occupied. Ah well...

The guard meeting after school was pretty fun. We choreographed our recruiting dance/work for when we visit Pine Valley (Thursday) and Iron Horse (Tuesday) to try and get some 8th graders to sign up for guard next season.
So yeah, and then we ate cookies/brownies/Chewy bars. xP We're all such fatties.
And Mr. Johnson took us over the stuff for next year; our uniforms are actually amazingly pretty. I like them. =D Then it's only 6 hours of practice a week (3:30-6:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, no Saturday practices), $350 (wayyy better than the $600 or so this season), same amount of competitions (5), and just pretty awesome in general. I'm so psyched for parade season, but now there's probably going to be more pressure than ever to not drop. Because that would SUCK; the judges are like, right in front of you. Not that we EVER drop in a show anyways though, right??? xP

So yep. I'm pretty excited for parade season! Can't wait for Sunday and the party though; I want school to be OVER.
