I'll Miss You
A simple tale
Two girls, having the time of their life
Eleven, twelve, free of worries
Living life as it comes, a day at a time
Close as sisters
Watching out for each other
Mistaken for each other
Loving every moment of life
A first boyfriend
A first breakup, messy, tears
Their friendship endures
And on each other they lean
Fourteen, fifteen, life goes on
Different schools, same bond
Or has something changed
Who am I to know?
A message from across the world
"I don't think I can be your friend"
A life turned upside down
A pinwheel in a maelstrom
A current boyfriend
An accusation of trust
"My dislike of you grew"
A broken bond or one that never was?
A flurry of tears
"...cut things off now..."
Jumbled words, jumbled thoughts
"...learning to hate you more..."
A night spent in tears
Sleep derived from sadness
A natural morphine
Wishing for the pain to end
"I'm sorry"
And maybe the tear-stained cheeks
Will be the only reminder
Of what once was.
Day 21 - A Recipe
Heartbreak. But Just One Type.
Locker rooms, 7th grade
4 years of (false?) friendship
Non-biological sisterly love
Countless times to the movies, park, etc.
Guy trouble
Random events throughout school
Different schools
Going through thick and thin

Is That... It?
What the hell am I supposed to do if someone just decides to walk out of my life? Run after them? Just let them go? I never thought I'd ever actually have to choose, and with someone who meant so much to me too. How come I didn't see this coming? What the hell happened? I always thought I'd be one to run after them, and try to get them to stay, but I guess I'm just too much of a coward. Can I really do nothing more than just watch her walk out the door? And it's so hard to imagine never seeing her again. Sure, I can tell myself I'm respecting her decision; after all, it couldn't have been easy for her to make it, right? But maybe I can't go after her because, just maybe, it's my own fault. Maybe I did something to push her away. Maybe I just didn't try hard enough. For what? I don't even know. But maybe it's the knowledge that it's because of me that's keeping me from trying to get her to stay. After all, how valid is, "It's not you, it's me"? In the end, it's always the other person. So who am I to believe that I'm in the right, that it really isn't me, it's her? Who am I to believe that I have the right to run after her? What the hell am I even supposed to say? Bye? Like that would even come close to showing her what she meant to me. So I guess I'll just sit here silently and watch her leave.
And maybe these tears staining my cheeks will be the only reminder of what once was. I'll miss you.
Day 20 - A Hobby of Yours
.

Sleeping is nice. And yes, it's a hobby of mine. I do it whenever I can. =P

And yet there's a part of me that wonders why I like sleeping so much. And I think I've found that answer today. So much shit has happened in the past 24 hours that I wish I just slept through it all. There's nothing really bad that can happen to you while you're asleep. Sure, nightmares come, but once you wake up, you can be glad that it was all a dream. Right now? I only wish I were asleep, then I wouldn't have to deal with the two things that happened today.
...To think I once thought we were perfect. Now just to keep up the facade. Nothing more, nothing less.
...I'll miss you jiejie.

Day 19 - A Talent of Yours

Day 18 - Whatever Tickles Your Fancy
Day 17 - An Art Piece (Ceramic Panda Box)
So I made this in Ceramics 1, fall semester freshman year. Pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. It's the best piece to come out of that class. xD
AWESOME Weekend!
So the SAT review yesterday was pretty lame; I was bummed that I did so badly, so it was sort of "meh" the whole time. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that the graders said I left a ton of questions blank, which I KNOW I had answered, so my parents went and asked about it today. It turns out they made a mistake and fixed it, so that was nice. I have yet to get my essay back though; I hope I did okay on it...
The SAT math class I went to was THE stupidest thing ever. I swear, the teacher was a nice guy, but he did NOT know how to do math. He screwed up work problems so bad... He tried to set them up as proportions! Since logically, if 15 workers can finish a job in 28 days, 40 workers can finish the same job in 74 2/3 days, right? -.- If students in the class had been totally clueless, he would have screwed us over. After I had to correct him the first few times, he started calling on students to explain the questions... -sighs- Total waste of 3 hours of my life. People are PAYING for this class, and they DEFINITELY aren't getting their money's worth.
Inception was AMAZINGGG!!! Seriously, it's like, my favorite movie now. Simply mind-blowing. I would totally see it again; it's THAT amazing. If you haven't seen it yet, you NEED to. Like, you HAVE to see it. I'm really wanting to make my own totem and have crazy dreams now...
Davy snuck in the 2-liter bottle of Sunkist and bag of Hot Cheetos that I gave him, it was pretty amusing. I sat through basically the whole movie holding a tub of popcorn like the fatty I am. =P
We went to Fuddrucker's after for food, and they had $0.99 ice cream cones, which made me happy. =] Then we walked to Quickly's (it's like a tradition now). Walked back to the theater, then I had to leave, given that it was like, 11:30pm and my mom was sort of pissed. xD

Class today was boring. We didn't go over much, but I LOVE Helen. She's funny as hell. xP
Simon's was pretty fun; we played pool while waiting for Kevin and Cory to show up, then they and Simon played YuGiOh while I sat there and recorded life points like the loser I am. =] Oh, and in addition to Jennica, Simon has another guppy which is now named Flare. Courtesy of me, of course. ;D
Then Kevin and I played Mario Party while Simon and Cory d-d-d-d-dueled! We got the beach/boardwalk map, and I never made it to the end. Keep in mind, this was a 20 turn, hour-long game. I got one star from the secret isle, but every time I got close to the end, I'd either get tornado-ed back to the beginning, or I'd land on that pirate ship that shoots you back. This happened SIX. FREAKING. TIMES. (Twice being tornado-ed, and four times being shot back.) I was just like, "Agh, WTF." So obviously I ended up in last place, but at least I was rich! =P
Davy showed up later, so he and Cory dueled for a bit, while Kevin and I had an absolutely fail game of pool. It was pretty sad. I got a few good shots in though, I'm proud of myself.
We went to the park later after Cory left; I biked there! =D Davy ended up putting two lines of bicycle grease under my eyes (yeah, it sounds disturbing, but meh) like the football players, so that was pretty hilarious. I went on the swings while Simon, Kevin, and Davy played ground Quidditch with lacrosse sticks, using a hoop thingy on the playground as the rings. It was pretty amusing...
We biked back, played some more pool, and then I left in the middle of Davy and Kevin's YuGiOh duel. Just saying, I left when Kevin had 100 life points and Davy still had all 8000 (I believe). Just goes to show how much Davy owns. At life in general (that also includes pool xP).

So yep, a pretty awesome weekend, and this isn't even factoring in Friday night (which I posted about before).
Day 16 - A Song That Makes You Cry (Or Nearly)
I actually have lots, and if you include the MVs, that adds a bunch more. But the one that comes to mind is Affection Line by 183 Club because of the drama (Magicians of Love).

Davy, You Owe Me =P
Aha, anyways, had an SAT test today, then I got home and chilled for a while. Pretty soon, Davy's talking to me on AIM and randomly wants me to go over because he's bored. So, I'm like, okay? Had to make sure he was serious, then to my surprise, my mom actually let me go! =D
Anyways, Simon and Cory went too, so we went to the park and played with this HUGE frisbee, some fail soccer (with a volleyball) too. It didn't really help that I was wearing flip-flops, but hey, it's a volleyball. xD Not like it's going to hurt me. Then we played Lava Monster; I failed SO much at that, but meh. xD Cory had to leave, so Simon, Davy, and I hung around the swingset for a while, then we headed back.
Tried to teach Davy how to play piano; I FINALLY found something I'm better at than him! Although I DO have 10 years of experience, and he has none. But that's beside the point. xD Simon had to leave after a while, then Davy and I were going to do our Asian rap, but didn't have the lyrics. =[ I DID get to listen to a verse of his epic remake of Akon's "Smack That" though. Pretty beast. Then he tried to teach me how to play Day of Defeat; I failed like no other. Plus he recorded it, so my epic failure can be seen on Facebook now! =D Not really. xD
Ah well, it was nice having something to do other than sit here and be bored. Going to see Inception tomorrow too, and I'm hanging out at Simon's on Sunday, so that makes me happy. But anyways, Davy, aren't you glad you have such a caring meimei?
