Classes Are Interesting... Sometimes

I haven't actually posted much lately, and my classes this week weren't too bad (so far), so I figured I might as well post a little blurb thing.

So the psych lecture on Monday was like, GEARED towards me. They talked about personality types (most people are a combo, so not so much correlation there), phobias (she picked spiders as an example -cough-), stress and coping procedures (need I explain?), and FOOD (xD). Apparently picking at your hair is like, a disorder or something too. Hm. Guess I'm just messed up all around, huh? But anyways, it was interesting, felt like I could really relate to the stuff discussed. =P

Not so much in lit, but we DID get our essays back. I got an A, and apparently had "superlative analysis" and good flow throughout the essay. A few comments, apparently I was a bit too general sometimes, but mainly just alternate ways of looking at things. But yeah, it made me happy that I got an A since he was talking about how he's a really harsh grader. Glad to know that Addison didn't COMPLETELY melt my brain too! xP

On a not-so-related topic, I have like, two or three (I can't really tell, it's sort of this mass) bug bites on the BOTTOM of my foot. It's a pain to walk now. Blah.

Day 6 - Whatever Tickles Your Fancy

Skittles! Yes, they're amazing, don't deny it. I am, however, disappointed at the fact that none of the Skittles packs have all the colors of the rainbow. It makes me upset that I must combine Skittles from different flavor packs so that I can truly taste the rainbow. Maybe they should incorporate a blue Skittles into their original flavor pack? Say, blue raspberry? Nevertheless, Skittles are awesome. Yum.

Zach's Birthday Party!

Aha, hecka fun day today. Got dumped in the pool a minimum of 5 times, I sort of don't remember. I really should stop bringing my friends to his parties, they always gang up on me. =[ Ah well. Got there first with Hsiang, and Zach starts TALKING from the roof. Having had a conversation with him where he talked about getting people wet from there, plus the unexpected-ness of him actually being up there, I like squealed and ran under the overhang. Hsiang and I joined him on the roof though, took both of us a deal of effort to get up there given that we don't have the height advantage. Zach literally had to pull me up, I probably would have fallen to my death/serious injury had he not. Probably should have considered the fact that I'm afraid of heights before I went up there though; had some difficulty getting down. xP

So yeps, lots of fun involving water balloons (not so much this time around though), squirt guns, and inflatable rafts/beach balls. Everyone was epically scrambling for the beach balls, it was pretty amazing. Then Wayne and Zach had to get a pitcher of ice water and a bucket respectively and like attack me with it. Wonderful. xD But pretty fun in general; I still have water in my right ear though, sort of annoying.

Oh, and I inhaled a good deal of helium today too, sang a bit, mostly just talked to people. It was epic. One of the funniest things to do after you've inhaled helium? Walk up to a group of people, and say with a straight face, "I will kill you all." It's amazing. =P We spent a good deal of time getting a balloon down from the ceiling that someone -cough- Jennifer -cough- accidentally let go of. =D

Played Mafia a few times, WAS Mafia twice. I swear, every time I play that game, like 9/10 times, I'm Mafia. Which usually leads to my death. xD Ah well, it was fun.

Played some Blokus, won a few games. That game gets pretty intense what with everyone blocking people off and getting disappointed/mad when they get blocked off. Pretty awesome though. =P

Then Zach opened gifts and we sang happy birthday and stuff. This probably deserves a bigger block of text, but all I remember is like, a ton of $2 bills from Tommy, a pretty interesting book called Eating the Dinosaur (sounds interesting) from David, a mac and cheese T-shirt from Boozer, and a lot of gift cards. xP

We had a HUGE Nerf gun war too. We actually ran out of guns for everyone, so I ended up with a water gun. But it works out fine, because I went around spraying people's legs (didn't want to get their clothes wet for the most part) unless they shot me, then I shot them back. Getting hit with a Nerf bullet is probably less annoying that getting soaked. xD

And we had a few games of Publish or Perish, which was sort of confusing at first, but turns out to be a pretty fun game. I forget who won the first game, just that I got killed by the two pioneers I believe. Ross eventually won the second game as the Lunatic, but I had to leave before he actually won. Ah well.

Yay Day!

Aha, today was a pretty good day too. Woke up at like, 12:30 and finished my logs for lit in an hour since I actually didn't have any distractions! xD Piano went pretty well, had to sight-read a piece with 4 sharps plus a ton added in that sounded weird as hell though. Also got a Mozart sonata in C major, which is AMAZING because it has no sharps or flat other than a few and it's easy to play once you get the technical stuff down. =D

Lit was pretty fun today too, gotta love Mr. Mikolavich! He's funny as hell, it's amazing. He made us act this one scene from Hamlet when he grabs Ophelia by the arm and just looks at her, and he demonstrated it for us in the most intense, hilarious way. =P
We had a bird stuck in the classroom for a while too, had to pause class to try and get it back out.
Then we got out half an hour early, but near the end he was like, "You guys need to bear with me for SEVEN minutes okay? Just seven then I'll release you from here!" xD

A pretty cool day overall, plus I don't have anything set to do tomorrow, and I have a party Saturday! =D
