Thanksgiving Day!

Anyways, It's Turkey Day! =) Except I didn't eat turkey. I ate chicken. Oh well, who cares. So yeah, I had A LOT of good food today! Let's see my tally.

Round #1: 1/2 a 3 lb chicken, 2 bowls buttered corn, 1 bowl mashed potatoes, 1 bowl potato salad, 2 Costco dinner rolls with butter, 1 yam, 1 glass bottle of apple cider, and 3 scoops Dreyer's Rocky Road ice cream.

Round #2: about 1/10 a 3 lb chicken, 1 bowl buttered corn, 1/2 bowl potato salad, 1 Costco dinner roll (un-buttered), 3 Swiss cheese/turkey rolls, 1 caramel apple pop, and 2 scoops Dreyer's Rocky Road ice cream.

So... I guess the total would be...

3/5 a 3 lb chicken
3 bowls buttered corn
1 bowl mashed potatoes
1 1/2 bowls potato salad
3 Costco dinner rolls (2 with butter, 1 without)
3 Swiss cheese/turkey rolls
1 yam
1 glass bottle of apple cider
1 caramel apple pop
5 scoops Dreyer's Rocky Road ice cream

Hm. Not bad for a 13 year-old girl who, as of last month, weighed less than 100 lbs. XD Sadly, there isn't going to be a Round #3, as to do that, I would have to employ the microwave, which would undoubtedly wake up my mom, who would undoubtedly ask me why I'm still awake at 3:30 in the morning. And while we're on the topic of food, I wonder what vegans eat on Thanksgiving. o.o Is there such a thing as tofurkey? Or something like that? Hm... But anyways, Turkey Day was AWESOME! We watched lots of random TV, ate food, and just had a great time. Jess came back too, so we talked a lot about stuff. Haha.

Then I actually thought about the stuff I'm grateful for, but it's pretty much everything in my life, so I guess I'd have to say I'm grateful about life in general. I did list a few general things though:

~ Alex's family being okay after their car accident in L.A.
~ all of my awesome friends who love me (and if you don't, you aren't my friends anymore! Rawr. Lol, jaykays) ILY GUYS! <3
~ my family, even though heaven knows how much they get on my nerves. XD
~ being able to go to school and learn (even though some of my teachers are a pain and homework is a drag)
~ having this wonderful, delicious food that I gorged myself on today
~ having my computer (because we all know I couldn't live without it)
~ POST THANKSGIVING SALES!!! W00T!!!

Haha, yeah. There's my oh-so-awesome list for you. =P I'll admit I wasn't feeling very thankful after I finished Round #1, due to the fact that I was cramming all of my algebra homework and French project in order to go to the sales tomorrow, but that thankful feeling came back during Round #2, in the midst of eating that bowl of potato salad and the cheese/turkey rolls.

Anyways, off the topic of Thanksgiving (and all that food *drools*), my French project looks pretty awesome! I'm done with most of my homework now: I have that English essay (which I seriously don't want to think about, let alone start) and some French question thingies. I was looking over my Mirrors Book from last year too, and that made me wonder, how the hell did I make those good projects last year? Sheesh. I man, seriously. I didn't even send that much time on my Mirrors Book; I wonder what I'd think if I got to look over my HNB. O.O So, back to the Mirrors Book; It's got some pretty awesome writing in here, not to mention drawings. I'm thinking about lending it to Mrs. Goodhue when her class does them just as an example, and getting it back at he end of the year. Hm. It would work. Anyways, I should probably go to bed, that way I won't completely conk out while I'm shoving people around tomorrow in order to get the cool, cheap stuff on sale everywhere. XP

Colorguard, Cans, And Cookies: The Three C's of Life

So today, I woke up at 8:30 to go clean the guard closet. =P No, actually, I woke up to go paint the floor mat. It was really fun; Ellen L, Colton, Ashlee, Laura, and I went to the Commons to paint the Winterguard mat with Kyle, and meanwhile, we were testing out moves for the Winterguard people. Seeing as I was the smallest, I got to try out all of the lift/partner moves, and fail miserably at all of them. XD Then Ashlee and Colton got to start painting the mat while Laura, Ellen, and I went to clear out the guard closet. Basically, Ellen folded all of the flag silks, Laura planned out the guard closet organization thing, and I just helped her. Then we sort of raided the food storage thing and relieved them of two Sprites and a Coke... and some other things. XD We went back to the Commons, and then Ashlee/Colton wanted to see the cleaned guard closet, so we ended up taking a mini field trip. Then we were like, "OMG, we should sign our name on the wall!" So we did that, and we are proud to say that the '08 CHS Guard has officially vandalized school property. XD (And not very subtly either seeing as all of our names are written proudly upon the wall. =P) By the way, if any of the '08 CHS Colorguard wants to sign their name, grab a Sharpie and scribble it on the lavender wall in the guard closet (you'll see it, it's the one with tons of names and "Cal High '08 Guard" written on it in red Sharpie). Then we finished painting the mat, and we had this mini chat thing about life/guard, in which Ellen had MILLIONS of questions. XD We also found out why Jay isn't coaching WG, but it's a secret. =P Then I found out that Kyle is from Fremont, Kelly is from Hayward, Jessie is from Union City, and Jay is from Tracy. o.o

Then Ellen and I went to volunteer for Interact; we had to pick up the "Trick-or-Treating" for cans bags. Some people put a TON of food out; it was kind of scary. o.o That was pretty boring, but whatever.

Then we went to the guard party at Melanie's! We ate pizza, pasta, nachos, etc. And Colton brought COOKIES!!! It was AWESOME! Then everyone watched the Fairfield and Championship Comps, and looked at the pictures that Mrs. Bottini took. I just have one thing to say: Melanie's mom has very... unique... picture taking skills. She had a few pictures of people with their hair whipping them in the face, one of Kimmi's butt crack, and one of our ending pose in the opener, in which almost everyone's mouth is open. XD Then everyone started rewatching all of the comps, so Colton and I got bored and went outside to ride around in the tricycle. XD Then we were on the swings, and we did "Spider," which was sort of weird, and Colton hung upside down on the pull-up bar thingy. Then we stole one of Melanie's pomegranates and started eating the seeds. XD Afterwards, we went inside again and watched pictures from last year's guard.
Then everyone went to Cal again to help Kyle baby powder the mat and fold it up. =) We all had to squish into cars though, Lia had like 6 people including herself in her car, so I was half siting on Colton. XD It was really funny because only 5 people went this morning, then Kyle comes (he told us to bring people), and there's basically the whole guard waiting for him. So Ashlee and I were like, "Hey Kyle, how'd we do?" XD So we folded up the mat, took some pictures (Lia took some of Colton and me on top of the rolled up wrestling mat things), and went to the guard room. Then people started leaving. I still keep thinking we have practice tomorrow... I never thought I'd miss guard so much, seeing as I really didn't want to go to rehearsal half the time... =(

I still have next year though!!! =D Go CHS Guard!!! Work it! <3

CHS Championships!!!

Okay, for those of you who just want a recap, Guard got 1st in our division (3A), and we won Champions (it's like Sweepstakes) for our division too.

So rehearsal went pretty damn well. You could tell everyone was pumped, because even though it was hot, everyone was still running around being crazy (in a controlled manner) and totally owning our work. It was sort of sad knowing that it was our last day of Guard though...
Warm-up went pretty well. It was really weird warming up at Cal though; it was weird walking out to the field too. But it was a lot of fun, and it's OUR field (Or, as Jay says, Cal's field) so we knew we were going to own everyone! =P
The show itself went okay for me... I had one major break, a minor mistake, and a major sail. =P For the break, it was when we come off the front sideline for the ballad; I couldn't find my second ballad flag (which was actually under Lori's saber), so I spent what seemed like 5 minutes digging around for it (I was out for around counts), then I sort of went to my dot, which was only 5 steps away from the front sideline, so that was okay. Then the second mistake was when we did the toss and caught it leaning towards the audience. It went really crooked, so I was like, "Oh shit!" but I managed to catch it in the crook of my arm, so at least it didn't drop. I'm not sure if anyone noticed though... You could probably tell... Then I had a sail for like 16 counts of the work. -.- I got it in the end of the fermata in the closure, and didn't get it out under we started re-doing the opener work... =/
Afterwards, we got to sit in the student section of the field, and Jung got me one of the Jamba Juices that he owes me. =P So we ran around taking pictures and eating and watching people perform. McQueen's Guard is pretty good, but Folsom won 1st for their category (4A).
We had pictures right after our competition, but they were like $17.50 each, and I didn't have any money, plus my parents didn't go watch, so I couldn't buy any. -.- I saw Daniel K and Terry there though. I think. The were just standing there, watching people. It was rather interesting. Then we went and changed, and headed back out to the stadium to watch other bands and for the awards ceremony.
We got 1st for Guard, 92.4, and Champions for 3A, 90.65. We beat Cupertino by 0.2! They got 90.45. So hah! This is payback for the time when YOU beat us by one-fifth of a point! Then Rodriguez got 3rd; i don't know their score though.
Then Guard was all crying and taking pictures, and hugging our coaches (Jay actually gave out hugs o.o) and each other. I wanted to cry, but then I didn't ant to cry, so I ended up tearing up but not actually crying. XD Jessie wasn't even there though... and she's not coaching next year either... *tear* We licked/kissed the trophy, and just ran around saying how we loved each other. =) It was funny, because Colton gives hugs where he lifts the person up and swings them around in a circle. XP

It was just really fun and exciting, and happy and everything, but then it's sad because Justine, Laura, Lia, and Yeaji are all not going to be here next year, so it's a really bittersweet memory. We had tons of good times together, but then we'll probably never see each other again... =(
We have a Guard party at Melanie's house tomorrow though! Yay! I'll post more then. =) CHS YOU KNOW!

Pasta Feed/Carbo Load and Twilight! <3

The Pasta Feed was pretty fun! =D We ate tons of food (Ellen K and I hoarded desserts, so by the end, we each had this mini stash of peanut butter/chocolate fudge, cookies, brownies, etc.) and basically just hung out. Then we had awards for random stuff (Most Loved Guardie, Yay Freshman, Most Likely to Die Sneezing, etc) and that was REALLY fun! Courtney got the "Never Late" award. XD

Twilight was pretty awesome. The movie itself was pretty un-detailed and it didn't really go into the plot that much either, so you wouldn't have really understood it if you hadn't read the book before. The action was pretty cool though! But yeah, basically I went with Jung, Courtney, Michelle, Sling, Taehyun, and Kevin Y. Blackhawk was all sold out, so we had to go to Regal Hacienda and get the 9:30 showing there! =P Anyways, it wasn't spectacular, but it's not like it sucked either. Mildly disappointing, a tad too many close-ups, but I LOVE Alice!!! =D

Oh, Ancient Egypt: Cats and Mummies

So I did a 20 minute wall sit today. With a 15 lb cat on my knees. o.o See, the thing is, Jinx, my favorite cat at the Tri-Valley SPCA, has a TINY room. =/ So basically, there no room to sit down, so I have to do a wall sit every time I want to visit her. Then today, as I was wall-sitting, she decided to jump on my lap and refused to get off. So yeah, I was stuck in that position for 20 minutes. =O The joy.
Then Mommy went to TJ Maxx, Home Depot, and Safeway, and I got food from McDonalds! =D Yummy, greasy, soaked in oil, fatty fries!!! Yay! Not to mention Double Cheeseburgers with 440 calories. XD Delicious.
Then I went to tutor Lisa, and we did pretty well I think. She didn't need that much help once I explained how to set up word problems. So I went to visit David, who was killing virtual people on his computer (when he was supposed to be doing french homework), so I hogged his bed, because Lisa's is really high up, and I'm lazy and don't want to climb into it. =P Then David and I had this long argument about if he could "mummify" me or not, so we ended up going into the study room, then he rolled me up in a blanket and said I was mummified. Then I said I wasn't, so he was like, "Try to get out," and sat on me. XD Obviously I can't get out of my cocoon thing with a fatty sitting on me. -.- Haha, jaykay. Then he tried to pick me up, but my "mummy" cocoon kept sliding off (because it obviously wasn't a proper mummification). So EPIC FAIL! XP

Ew, I have a math test tomorrow... And guard practice. Ugh. I'll probably post more tomorrow, so cyas!

Fairfield and Pics! <3

So we had pics on Friday, and that was rather random. We took our group pics, and I was in the very front right by the S of CHS. =D The band was stuck on the bleachers and it looked REALLY crowded, so I'm glad that I'm not in band. XP Then Mr. Johnson was being an idiot (in a good way); he stole a guard rifle, sat in a chair facing us, pointed the rifle at us, and said, "If you don't smile, I'll shoot you! *makes shooting motions*" Then we had a guard-only picture, which I think should have turned out pretty well. I bought a 16x20 Guard/Band group picture, and some individuals. My individual pics took FOREVER. I was like, last in line. -.- I got my jacket though! personally, I think it was a bit overpriced, but it does have my name on it, and well as an icon thingymabobber on the back. =D

The Fairfield comp today went really well I though. Rehearsal was ishy; everyone was tired, sick, sweaty, and it was REALLY hot. it didn't help that Mr. Johnson now makes us lift every single time we do the start of the opener, instead of doing the fake lift. So pretty much, we were all really sluggish during rehearsal. At warm-up, we got hyped up a bit; I was still sort of tired, but not as much. Warm-up went pretty well.
The actual competition was my best so far! I only had two blips, one wasn't technicaly my fault, and they both weren't that bad. One was when Christine accidentally stepped on my ballad flags (we got extensions; they're really long now, and that was our first performance with them), so I was out for a few counts while I tried to yank them out from under her feet. XD Then I sort of messed up at the fermata in the closer. I forgot to bring my flag up, so I was out for a count, and my flag probably looked weird because it came up faster than the others for me to recover. XP Otherwise, I think I did really well.
I was trying to change really fast for dinner (I was freaking STARVING) but I ended up taking more time than anyone else. XP Dinner was really good. Or maybe it's just because I was really hungry. We had spaghetti, dinner rolls, salad, and BROWNIES!!! Yum. I was totally stuffing my face in the stadium. Then Ellen and David were like, "Hey, do you mind if we stare at you for like, two minutes? Wed want to study you." So I was like, "Ooook... o.o" Haha.

We won 2nd overall, 5th for brass, 4th for woodwind, 4th for drum major, and 1st for guard! W00t! We rock! Well, we tied with McQueen, but they're like, twice our size. They won Best Field Show Auxiliary though... But whatever. They're not even from California! -.- They're from Reno, Nevada. Rawr. Oh well; I think we all did really well, and that's what counts right?

On the way back, I was talking to Melanie, Ryan, and Peter, and we had some REALLY interesting conversations. Like eating Chocolates (the cell phones, not the yummy sugary stuff), and "doing" walls. o.o It was really interesting. Then Lia and I were talking to Mr. Johnson and Scott (Lawrence) about guy concubines, which Scott calls "goncubines." XP
Then when we got to the band room, I started getting all hyper. I basically tackled Ross to see his jade dog necklace thing, then I fought with David, Jung, Peter, and Ross for one of those glow necklace things. They kept tossing it back and forth; I had to keep running and tackling people. -.- Then Colton kept trailing me going like, "Calm down, Erica..." It was all rather funny. XD

Basically, today started out amazingly sluggish, and improved drastically. I had TONS of fun; I can't wait for Championships!!! Which, I may mention, are at CAL this year! Yay! =D I'm sort of sad that guard ends in a week now... =( But then at least I'll have more free time, but I'm going to miss guard... I'll probably never see Justine, Laura, or Lia again either... =/ Oh well. Cherish the time we have left together and remember, "CHS, YOU KNOW!" XD

So...

This week has been interesting to say the least. And saying that my life problems have pretty much bunched up into this week is an understatement too. So... to summarize, I guess I'd just say that this week has been pretty shitty overall.
Of course, there's the Bob dilemma. For you guys that don't know already, to summarize briefly, Bob #1 asked me out, Bob #2 says he likes me, and Bob #3 is currently unidentified (Pink Bunny insists that there is one though =/). So basically, I have three guys to deal with right now. Sort of. That makes me sound like I'm about to go beat them up, XD. Okay, so I already know what to do about Bob #1 pretty much, I don't exactly have to do much about Bob #2 I guess, and I don't even know if there IS a Bob #3 or who he is, so I can't do much about that.
Then I have school problems, which is really surprising because I'm actually failing things now. Like, seriously failing. I don't even know why. o.o
Then there's family problems, which are personal, so I can't talk about it here, but the school problems aggravate the family problems, so this is a big huge mess right here.

And outside of all those problems, I'm still worrying about the last two competitions. We have to beat Cupertino. Dammit! One freaking fifth of a point... Rawr. I be angry. And I'm sore from practice, which is saying something, because I thought I'd gotten used to our "awesome" split exercises and such.

On a happier note though, my friends are purely AWESOME. I swear, It's because of them that I'm not depressed like I was a few years back. So, to any of my besties reading this, kudos to you guys! Ily! <3
Then we have pictures tomorrow, which should be okay; I mean, I'm not exactly looking forward to it, but whatever. Then I have Chinese school too, which is actually pretty fun as long as we don't have a test, so I'm good with that. =D Anyways, it's getting late, so I'm going to go watch more Fated to Love You (Yay!) and then go sleep.

GKB Club Meeting and an Unexpected Surprise...

So the Give a Kid a Backpack thing today was actually really fun. We basically walked around neighborhoods and handed out paper bags for the food drive that's going on. It was really funny, because we would put them under doormats or in mailboxes (and sometimes both XP), and every once in a while, I'd have someone open the door on me. Then I'd have to stand up and explain why I was kneeling on their doorstep trying to shove a piece of paper under their door mat. XD Anyways, I was in a group with Aries (Rae's brother) and Margaret. Then halfway through, Aries brought out this golf ball and started bouncing it so I stole it from him. =P Then since he was our official "Navigator," he got tired of it, then gave it to Margaret, who didn't want to be the navigator, so she gave it back to Aries, who spent the next few neighborhoods trying to shove it into the back pocket of my jeans. XD Basically, it was mildly boring, sort of monotonous, but tons of fun! =D
Then afterwards, I was talking to some of my friends, and throughout it all, I was asking all of my guy friends that were online what they would do if a girl the sort of knew asked them out, because this guy asked me out at volunteering today, so I got into this loooooooong conversation with this one guy (name withheld because he might not appreciate having whoever reads this blog know what he said), about how he doesn't have to know. So basically, I told him to forget about it, but he wouldn't. Then somehow he went from me asking the question (I didn't say why I was asking it), to me liking someone, to me liking Jung, then to me liking Ben (I mean, come on...), so I was like, "Uh... ooooook..." Then, he kept saying, "I NEED to know," and because I just didn't want to say that a guy asked me out (you know, it leads to other questions), I was like, "You don't NEED to know, because it's not like it's about you, and you aren't my boyfriend, nor do you even like me, so you don't need to know." Then there was this big huge silence, and afterward, he was like, "Fine. I DO like you. Now tell me." Then he said it in Chinese, "Wo xi huan ni," and I was just like, "..." At first I thought he just wanted to know so I was all like, "Liaaaaaaar. XD" but then he said how he likes me because apparently I'm all hyper and I don't really care what other people think of me (which is true), so I was just sort of like, "Oh. Um. Okay." So I'm still sort of confused and really shocked and just like, "Wow..." over the whole thing...

Spinning in the Rain, Oh Spinning in the Rain...

Practice today wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Maybe that was just because Jessie was the only one there though. Well, Kelly was there for the first half of rehearsal, but then she left.
It was really tiring, but at least we didn't learn any new work. We basically changed some drill for the ballad, and cleaned up dance/saber/flag work.
Then during lunch, I tried pegging Ross with grapes again, and I shot one which hit him like, right on the bridge of his nose. XD It was rather funny. Then I stole half of Jung's fries, so Jenny was all like, "God, I don't get why you guys just dont start dating." So I glared at her then pegged her with a grape. =P We watched the WinterGuard Championships from last year, and they are SO good!!! I really want to join WinterGuard now, but I won't have time and my mom isn't going to let me. =/
There's not much to post; it started raining the last hour "power hour" of rehearsal. The woodwinds were all trying to protect their instruments, because wood + rain doesn't mix. And, just saying, wet flags are HARD to spin. I swear, they gain like 5 pounds just by soaking up the water. -.- Then, if you get a sail, it's near impossible to get it out by just doing the work. You have to find a break and physically pull it out. Not to mention the fact that I was hot/cold at the same time, and wet from rain and sweat. -.- It was rather miserable, but then I went home and took a nice, long bath. =D

FOUR DAY WEEKEND! YAY!

The Perfect Guy

So. Don't ask me why I'm writing this, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that I watch too many love dramas, and that an idiot *coughs* Mike *coughs* wanted me to write this that way he can laugh at all of my "criteria." And yes, I know I'll probably never find the perfect guy who fits all of my requirements (me being the picky, lovey-dovey person I am), but hey, a girl can always hope, right?

I want a guy who'll protect me, love me for who I am, and accept my views. I want someone who'll comfort me when I'm sad, say everything will be okay even when it won't, and try his hardest to help me get through my problems. I want someone who will listen to me ramble and fume, give me a shoulder to cry on, and hug me tight and never let go. I want someone that I can be happy to see every day, and who would be my sunshine when the skies are gray. I want that guy in all of the love dramas, who does everything he can for the girl, even when she's mean to him. He'd be sweet and loving, romantic and classic, but has his own views and opinions. I want a guy who will surprise me and make me laugh even when I feel like crying. I want that guy who would just randomly pull me in and hold me tight, and say "I love you," but only when he really means it.
He has to get along with my friends and family (or at the very least, try to), and never say bad things about them, no matter how much he wants to. He'd try his best to fit in with my friends, and eventually, they'd learn to accept him for who he is. He'd never make me pick between him and one of my friends, no matter how jealous or annoyed he was, because he'd know that my friends mean a lot to me and I could never choose.
But at the same time, I hope for a guy who can be my friend too. We could stay up late talking about the randomest things ever. We'd tease and "torment" each other, but throughout all, we'd still be loving one another. We could do anything that the closest of friends could do together, and we'd always be there to support the other. I want a guy that I can love and have him love back, but throughout this, we won't ever be awkward with each other.
He'd be funny and crazy, and not afraid to show his real emotions and opinions. He wouldn't care about what other people think of him, because he'd know that if he acts himself, there are those who will gravitate towards him for who he is. He wouldn't be too jealous of my guy friends, because he'd know that even if I hang out with my friends a lot, the one my heart belongs to is him.

Basically, I want that guy who will love me like I love him, has his own personality, and who I can talk to like any of my other friends. Yep, that'd be the guy for me. =D

<3 Homecoming!!! <3

Homecoming was SO much fun!!! I had the time of my life. It was AWESOME! Dancing in heels is a pain though. =P Check my Facebook for pictures! I posted a few here though, just for the general gist of it.

So I did all my makeup, accessories, dress, and such, then Lisa and Terry came over to make boutonnieres and a corsage. I still say I made them all, but Lisa DID get the components, and she made some of the ribbons too. I'm going to post two pictures here, in case you're too lazy to check Facebook, or you don't have a Facebook. (In the corsage one, the corsage on the right was Lisa's store bought one, and the left is my homemade one.)

Afterward, we went to Cheesecake Factory and ate there, but we didn't get dessert because we were all really full by the end. XD We had to get waiters to put on Kevin's tie and boutonniere too; it was rather funny. I got the Pasta Da Vinci, Terry got the Hawaiian Pizza, Lisa got the Fish & Chips, and Kevin got the Cuban sandwich.

We had some time left over (like an hour), so we wandered around Macy's, Pac Sun, and Hollister, and just looked at some random stuff. It was funny, because in Macy's this store employee saw Lisa and me all dressed up, and she was like, "Homecoming, ladies?" We said yeah, so she looked at our shoes and was like (jokingly), "Oh come on, you can go higher than that!" XDD
Then Kevin's mom picked us up, and since Kevin, Lisa, and me are all Chinese, we went in and Kevin was like, "Hi mom" in Chinese, Lisa and I were like, "Hi Auntie" in Chinese, then Terry comes in and is like, "Hi Mrs. Ye" in English. So Kevin's mom is like, "Where'd your Chinese go?" So Terry think for a second, and says, "Ni kan chi lai hen ke ai," which means, "You look really cute." XD It was HELLA funny! Then when we got to Cal, Lisa/Terry/I started telling Kevin not to wear his dress shoes because 1) it was raining outside and it'd be a hassle to get them out of his trunk, and 2) they were uncomfortable.

We then proceeded to stand in line in the rain for about 20 minutes, during which almost everyone was soaked in one part of their body or another, unless you're Brenden Phung, who got soaked through completely. XD When we actually got to the dance, The music was HELLA loud so it took me about 5 minutes to get used to it, and get the ringing out of my ears. XP
The dance was hella fun; you just go with the flow and dance for your life. XD I played DDR too, but I SUCKED. XD Then this slow dance song came on, and Pink Bunny ran away because this guy asked her to slow dance so I was looking for her, but then I saw Kevin and Lisa slow dancing and it was soooooooo cute!!! Haha, then like, they have this message screen that you can text, so I borrowed Jung's phone and texted "Jung sux" to the screen. XDD Then they had the thing where it's like "One hop this time. Right foot let's stomp! Left foot let's stomp!" So that was really fun. Then another slow dance song came on, and Terry asked me to dance, so I was like, sure whatever. Haha. But anyways, the dance was SOOOOO fun!!! I can't wait for the next one!!!

Halloween and Homecoming Parades!!!

It was so fun today! I got to skip school! I was really happy about that. XD Guard had the awesomest costumes ever (Julia = Tinkerbell, Lindsay = Tiger Lily, Ashlee = Peter Pan, Justine = sailor girl, Laura/Christine = angels, Esther = 1/2 angel 1/2 devil, Jessica = cat, Shine = vampire, Lori = Pikachu!, Alyssa = '80s girl, Colton = Zorro, Natalie = ladybug, Melanie/Ellen = poodle skirts, Haley = princess, McKenzie = gangster, Kimmi = marshmallow, and I was an earth fairy!).
Basically, we went to three elementary schools (Quail Run, Neil Armstrong, and Bollinger Canyon), and just did drop spins, carves, and the Cal fight song dance. The kids there are soooooooo adorable!!! It was really funny, because some of the little kids there had the same outfits, or similar ones to people in guard, so we were like, "Ooh _____, there's your brother/sister!" (Julia had like 20 little sisters, Lori had 3 little brothers, Yeaji had a little sister, Esther had a little sister, and Shine had a husband [Dracula]! XD)
Then we went to perform for the district office place, and I saw Mr. Hoy again! =D I didn't get to say hi though... Then we got dropped off by Lucky's for lunch, and everyone invaded McDonald's. XD We all went into the play area, and I reminiscenced about the time when I got lost in there and started crying. XP (By the way, McDonald's Sweet Tea is HELLA good! It's only a dollar too, and it's this big, huge cup.)
Afterwards, we went to Athens Down to prepare for the parade, which took us past Pine Valley and into Cal. It was REALLY fun. Sort of boring, since all we did was drop spins, turns, and carves, but whatever. I didn't really see anyone that I knew, except for Meghan. It was really funny though; it was pretty windy outside, so Ashlee's hat flew off into McKenzie's face. XD

Then Brendan and I went to visit people at Iron Horse, which, technically, we're not supposed to do (people not attending Iron Horse aren't allowed on campus during school hours, but all the high schoolers blatantly ignore that fact. XD). All of the science teachers were gone on a convention though, and Ms. Brown leaves at one... I couldn't fin Mrs. Keller either... =/ I visited Mrs. Goodhue, Mrs. MacDonald, Mme. Prochnow, Mrs. LaHive, Mrs. Beggs, and Mr. Matek. Then I tried to visit Mrs. Irwin, before I knew there was a sub, and the sub was all like, "Are you a 9th grader? You're not supposed to be here! Come back at 2:45!"

The football game went okay... The Song team is HELLA good. They're really freaky. I want to learn to dance like that... o.o I totally messed up and blanked out on the work, but none of our coaches were there, so I didn't get yelled at. XD Yay! It was soooo cold though! it doesn't help that we were wearing fishnet tops either... It was raining pretty heavily on and off though, so the woodwinds got ponchos to cover their instruments, and guard was freaking out about our flags. XD Then when we were done, the announcer was like, "Wasn't that awesome?" and I was like, "Uh... sure..." Then guard had to make this realy stupid "aisle" for the Homcoming King/Queen nominees to run through.

Afterward, Ellen and I went trick-or-treating, and we got a fairly good amount of candy. =D I swear though, people close their houses too early. =P I mean, come on, have some respect for the people who go ring your doorbell at 10pm!!! XDD

All in all, I had a really good day, and I'm really happy right now. I'm hecka excited for Homecoming too!!! Yay!!! I can't wait. =D
