So I didn't post this yesterday, but I went to the football game at Berkeley. Anyways, I went with Melanie and her family, and it was AWESOME! First we went to the student store, and I swear, it's like a friggin Cal-based department store in there! 0.0 It's kind of freaky. There's attire, bottle openers, replica footballs and helmets, pom poms, keychains, stuffed animals, even WINEGLASSES with Cal written on it! It was hecka freaky.
Then we listened to the drumline performing outside, and they are SOOOOOO good! They play and twirl their sticks and everything. It's so awesome!
Afterwards, we went to the lair for food and drinks and stuff, and there was this guy making balloon things with his mom, and they are so good at it, it's not even funny. Mel got a "CalBug" in orange, and I got this awesome balloon hat that looks like a court jester's hat. We went t the stadium after, and found our seats and everything. Then, we basically watched the game, and we TOTALLY owned Colorado State! 42-7! W00t!!! My throat hurt from screaming afterwards, but whatever! XD
It was soooo awesome! My first football game ever. XP I want to go to more, but I doubt my parents would take me. =/ Oh well... it was fun while it lasted!
Then afterwards, we had this mini party thing, and there were chips, hot dogs, etc, and Mel and I hid in her van and played Truth, which was funny and random. And that was pretty much it, but it was SOOOOOOO fun!!! =D

Depression Hurts... And So is My Friend
I'm so frickin worried for my friend... I've known him for like, forever, and these past few days he's just been hella depressed and even suicidal. He has all these problems that I can relate to, but I can't even help him with them. What kind of sh*tty friend am I if I can't even help one of my best friends? Even when I've had the same exact problems, I don't know how to make him feel better! I'm just so damn frustrated at myself... If any of you can help (if anyone even READS this...), please leave a post... So he has all these problems, some of them are private and I can't reveal them, but I'll generalize them, and say the main points.
1) He's feeling HELLA guilty about rejecting this girl that asked him out. He told her that he'd rather just be friends, since he likes someone else, but he's one of the people who never wants to cause anyone any pain, and would much rather take the weight of the world on his shoulders if it meant that the people around him were happy, even if they were strangers to him.
2) He really likes this girl, but he's too shy to ask her out. He's all stressed and scared that she's going to be asked out by someone else, because he knows that someone else likes her, and apparently she's pretty and sort of popular too. So, in addition to the guilt of rejecting someone, he has the tension of indirectly being rejected.
3) His family has LOTS of problems right now; his parents are arguing 24/7 almost, his sister is being rebellious (and therefore aggravating the situation), and his house is no longer the safe haven it once was. He feels like he's the only one in the family trying to keep it together. I'd say he's trying to mend the cloth of his family, but every time he tried to sew up a tear, another one bursts open, and the ones that he's already mended start to unravel once more. Pretty soon, he's left with nothing but the needle in his hand, and pieces of cloth scattered at his feet, reminiscent of the comforting blanket of family he once had.
4) His grades are going down since he's so stressed (mainly from family problems) and that just proceeds to make him even more stressed. Then, since he's getting more stressed, he has even less focus, and his grades drop even lower. Now, this just causes more parents arguments about how the "opposing side" is causes problems in their children's lives, and my friend also get yelled at for not concentrating on his schoolwork.
This is just the worst thing ever, because I've been through times like this, and I've been depressed and even tried suicide once (thankfully, it didn't work), but I don't even know how to help my friends get out of HIS depression. It's like we were both stuck in the same ditch; I managed to climb out with his help, but I've left him behind, and can't reach him through the meager distance, but also the vast void, separating our fingertips. It's just so stupid, and I'm just furious at myself for not being able to help him. If any of you have been through this, and have ANY idea whatsoever how I can help my friend, PLEASE tell me...
P.S. Thanks so much to Terry, who helped with the first two problems before he had to leave. THANK YOU!!!

Homecoming!
I forgot to post this yesterday; I was so preoccupied with Koizora. XD Anyways, I'm going with Terry (as friends, clarifying for those of you who would bug me endlessly otherwise), so yeah. it's still more than a month away though. XP So yeah. Just some insight into Homecoming. And tha's about it! Cyas!

Koizora <3 (The Movie)
SPOILER ALERT!!!
It's sooooo cuuuuuuuuuuute!!! It's like the cutest drama/movie I've ever seen! It's even better than Hana Yori Dango. It's so sad at times though, it made me cry so much... But anyways, it's so friggin ADORABLE! I just want to sit there and hug myself and just watch it over... and over... and over... and over... and over... and... well, you get the point. I love it so much though! The only sort of weird thing is that Mika (I love her name by the way) is a sophomore in college (I think) and she's bee proposed to twice already. I find that sort of weird, but it's soooo cuuute!!! And I love how Hiro's always ready to go kill someone if the hurt Mika. He's sort of scary when he's like that, but it's cute. =D Then the sky simile was hella sweet! The day after I began watching it, I was going t school, and I looked out the window, and there was a smoke trail in the sky, and I was like, "Omg..." but I didn't have my cell... =( Then there was this dude watering his lawn and there was a rainbow! But it was so sad when Hiro was breaking up with Mika, and she didn't know why or anything. To be fair, I didn't know either, and I was just like, "Dammit Hiro, what the heck?" Then Yu came, and he's like the overly nice protective guy (which there's one of in every drama) and I was sort of like, okay, well, he's nice and sweet and all, but I still can't believe Hiro is gone... Then I figured he'd come back SOMEWHERE since Koizora is about Mika and HIRO not Mika and YU. Then I found out that Hiro had cancer. I was like, omg... ='( and then everything fit into place, like why he broke up with her, why he avoided her, why he was wearing a hat... =/ It was just so sad... And then Mika took leave from school to take care of him and that was just the sweetest thing she could have done... And I haven't finished it yet, but I'll add an edit after I get to a really good part. (Oh, by the way, random thought, but I like Hiro better with darker hair.)Edit: OMG, Mika asked Hiro to marry her! Aww... Then Hiro's like, "If it's what you want, I'll do it." It's so cute!!!! Saving this moment here... Movie Part 7/8 at 11:30.
Edit: Saki's pregnant? o.o Whoa. Hm, well she's nicer now. I really didn't like her before... like, excluding the fact that she tried to murder Mika, her personality was just... I don't really know. She was just really jealous and arrogant and stuff... She seems okay now. =)
Edit: LOL. Hiro's talking about after he dies, he'll want to become the sky so he can always look after Mika, and he's all sweet and serious, then she's like, "A stalker, huh?" So funny!
Edit: Aw... So Hiro took dozens of pictures of her just doing whatever... He can't die though. =/ He's not going to die... I refuse to believe that he might die. Period. End. Done.
Edit: OMG NOOOOOOOOOOO. He can't die!!! No, wtf?????????? The person who made the movie or whatever sucks!!! Ugh! *tears*
This is like the saddest but best drama/movie I've ever watched. *tear* I hate it but I love it so much... It's so sad though... I'm going to cry myself to sleep now...

Soo... Guarding the Homecoming! (Or at least the Parade. XD
Such a lame title. I'm jealous of Courtney's titles. XP Anyways, lots of guard and HC crap going on!
So basically in guard, I FINALLY got down the 24/24 count move... then we learned 12/24 then the 24 we already knew then another 24. DX More work for me to mess up on and make a total loser out of myself! Yay! Lol. Anyways, we're in the Homecoming Parade! Yay? We have to dress up in costumes, but I have no idea what to be, so I'm probably going to steal my sister's clothes and just be like a preppy schoolgirl or something... like ALEX! Haha. Anyways, guard practice today was okay, I didn't make any MAJOR mistakes, even though I still can't get the 4-5-6 count flip down right. Oh wells.
So everyone seems preoccupied with Homecoming, which is still more than a month away. But whatever. So apparently Lisa's got a date already (and she seems really happy, so that's awesome!) and some other people are going with friends (I think Pink Bunny is bringing Kavita) then Taehyun is going with Black Angel, obviously. I'm not sure if Mute Girl (a.k.a. Courtney) is going, but I am going to drag her. Period. Lol. And then Kevin #2 (Ye, for those of you that don't know) was like, "Hey, are you going to Homecoming?" And I'm like, "Uh... maybe?" And so Kevin asked me if I would go with Ross, and I was sort of like... "Uh... maybe?" Lol. It was sort of weird. He might have been kidding though. Then Terry (whom I haven't posted about yet, but he's AWESOME!) is sort of dateless at the moment. (He broke up with his girlfriend, who he WAS going to bring =( but apparently he has this girl that he really likes, and he might ask her.) So he was stressing about whether he should ask her, and I was just like, "JUST ASK HER!" But it was hilarious because I was doing my French homework, and I was going to type moi, then I was IM-ing Terry, so I ended up typing "ASK ME!" to Terry, then I reread it and was like, "Oh sh*t!" But yeah. That's what comes out of procrastinating and multi-tasking. XP Anyways, it seems like everyone's scrambling around for a date for Homecoming, whereas I'm sort of like, whatever. If someone asks me, I might go with him, or I might just stick with my friends. And stand on the sidelines and eat food. (They have food, right?) Lol.
And damn, I forgot about the cupcakes I was baking. DX They're just sorta brown though. Not burnt. Thank God, since they're for Seohyun tomorrow. XP

Yesterday and Today!
Anyways, this is going to be a bit different from my original posts, since I have quite a bit to say, so I'm going to use subtitles. =)
9/18/08
Mock Trial
So we didn't do much in Mock trial. I got directed and crossed, and I was more nervous on direct than cross which was kind of stupid. XP Anyways, so the guy crossing me, Adam, said, "So you demanded an explanation from Jes Markson, is that correct?" And obviously, I don't want to seem guilty, so I replied, "I did not demand an explanation, I simply requested one." And apparently, that was a good response for me, and bad for Adam, because everyone started going, "Oooooooooh...." it was rather funny. Then the last question was, "And no one can account for your whereabouts after 10 pm?" so I felt I needed to end on a semi-funny/sarcastic note, so I was like, "That is most likely true. I am not under the impression that I have a stalker."
Ceramics
Ceramics was fun. We started to put our footed pinch pots, triple pinch pots, and stamps into the kiln. My footed pinch pot lost a toe, so I didn't fire it yet. My triple pinch pot looks like crap, but my stamp is okay. We started making vases too. I rather like mine; it's just a simple vase, but with an awesome design of stripes crisscrossing and dos in random places. I'm going to make a dice one too, like a cube with numbers in dots on the sides. I'm probably going to make some flowers to stick in my vase also. =)
Break
OMG a bird pooped on Tommy!!! XD It was SOOOO funny!!!
English
English was weird as usual. We had the Fall Write today. DX It was about the best teacher you've veer had. I was like... uh... I don't know! But that took up 50 minutes, then we gt the rest of the time off to do whatever because Mrs. Foss felt that we were already exhausted and stressed enough from the write. So the free time part was kind of cool, but I swear I failed the Fall Write... =(
LUNCH!!!
Haha, lunch was awesome and usual. basically, I was standing in the middle of this triangle formed by Jung, Courtney, and Robyn, and all of a sudden Jung pokes me, so Robyn pokes me, then Courtney stabs me with her pen. -.- It was hecka fun though. XP Then, after Robyn poked me, she was like, "Whoa, Erica has abs!" And I was like, "I do...? Since when...?" Haha.
Biology
We had a sub in biology today, so basically what we did was watch a movie, fill out a worksheet on it, then work on our homework. First day of the year that biology wasn't outstanding and awesomely funny... =/
9/19/08
Mock Trial
So we continued crosses and directs today. Mainly, all I did today was help Lisa project her voice. I spent the whole period trying to get hr to talk louder, but not to te point where she's shouting. It was kind o funny because I was like, "*normal voice* Usually you talk like this, right? But *projected voice* this is how you should sound when it's projected. See how it's louder, but it's not like *shouting* YOU'RE SHOUTING OR ANYTHING! *normal voice* So yeah." Then she actually did pretty well on projecting, but she went softer when she was actually up there, because, I guess, of nerves. Oh well. She's doing a lot better than before! =)
Algebra 2
Boring. As usual. Spent another half period going over homework... Then we took notes on "Solving Problems Using Systems" and "Linear Inequalities with Two Variables." Hella easy stuff. I was seriously about to fall asleep, and getting less than 7 hours of sleep last night doesn't help either...
PE
My team for football SUCKS! It's so funny. We don't even try. I caught the ball a few times, got my flag pulled once, passed the ball the other times but my teammates never caught it. XD It was hilarious. Then my team so totally pwns everyone in volleyball! Undefeated champions as of yet! We're so awesome. It was hilarious, because when we were playing Ross's team, I hit the ball, it went basically straight up, then landed about an inch inside the other team's side of the net. Like seriously, it went up, then went directly back down. I was like, "Pwned!" Haha. I didn't think it would go over though. XP
LUNCH!!!
Today at lunch was... interesting. I was eating all my grapes and my sandwich, then Courtney shows up, and she has chocolate covered pretzels. So I try one, because I've never tried them before, and they're like sweet, then salty, then sweet. Unless, of course, you lick them, because then they're sweet, salty, bland. Haha. Then I go over to where Lisa and Pink Bunny and everyone else is, because Lisa wanted me to help her with projection again (which I didn't end up doing) and I find that Kevin Y. is scribbling down his math homework that's due the next period. I was like, "Ooooooookay..." Haha. Then I was talking to Pink Bunny, Lisa, and some other random people, then Jung suddenly comes up and gives me this huge hug, so I was just standing there going like, "Uh... wtf?" It was quite interesting. Lol. Then he uses me as an armrest (like always) so Qasim (Faryal's brother) comes over and is like, "Ooooh, who is this, Jung?" So Jung was like, "My friend. She's a good armrest." At the same time that I was like, "What's up, Possum (his old nickname)???" So he was like, "*stares at me* I KNOW YOU!!!" Anyways, lunch was so fun today! It was hilarious.
French
In French, we didn't do much. We sang "Ensemble" by Jean-Jacques Goldman again, and apparently we're a lot better than her other class(es). Then we went over our homework, did some textbook activites, then we had this Jeopardy-like thing. I knew all the answers, except my reflexes absolutely SUCK. So I didn't score anything. =( Too bad, so sad. Haha. Then we watched this weird video of some dude dancing to something called "Tektonik" and it was soooo random and funny! So French was pretty cool, but it's always fun in Mme. Gldin's class. =D

Pretty Awesome Day!
Anyways, so today, we were in Mock Trial, and we just sat around and talked about random stuff, and basically didn't get anything done. But it was fun!
In Ceramics, the toe broke off of my footed pinch pot =( but Mrs. Tussy is going to fix it =) and I like my stamp! =D.
English was weird, as usual, but all we did was discuss poems, and THAT, thankfully, I can do. Haha. It was sort of fun, but boring at the same time.
Bio was funny as usual, and WE GOT COOKIES! Tuxedo ones. Mrs. Pence was saying how he was at the grocery store, looking at Oreos, then he was like, "And those Oreos are so damn expensive! Then I see the Safeway brand, and they cost LESS THAN HALF!!! So I bought those, and hopefully they taste good, because if they don't... tough luck." It was quite funny.
But the real highlight was lunch. It was SO FUN! So basically Nick (Jess's friends, also the brother of my friend, Natalie) came and visited, since his friend had to bring her cousin his lunch. Anyways, we talked for like 1 minutes, and Nick was all like, "You look like a miniature version of your sister! You're Asian, don't have friends (Courtney was getting her lunch, so i was by myself) and eat the same food!" It was hilarious. Then Jung came over and put his arm around my shoulders like he always does, then switched to the armrest position, and Nick was like, "Oooooooh is that your boyfriend?" Then Jung and I were sort of like, *glance at each other, make a weird face* then "No..." Haha. It was so funny!
Then Jung was asking Nick what grade he was in, and the convo was like:
Jung: "What grade are YOU in?"
Nick: "What grade do you think I'm in?"
J: "I think you're in college."
N: "No, I'm a senior."
J: "No... You look too old to be a senior..."
Then Nick was talking to his friend, and he asked her, "Do I look too old to be a senior?" and She was like, "Isn't that a good thing?" and asked Jung what grade she looked like she was in, and Jung looks at her and goes, "You look like a freshman." It was hilarious. Then back to Nick ad Jung:
N: "I'm a senior! Here, I'll show you my ID. *flips through his wallet* Oh, I forgot to bring it today... "
J (to me): "Is he really a senior?"
Me (with a straight face): "Yeah! Haven't you seen him around?"
J: "No."
N: "Yeah that's because I stay in the hallways and do my homework."
Me: "Liar."
But finally, Jung actually believed Nick was a senior. It was HILARIOUS. I don't know if Jung still thinks that though. But anyways, it was HELLA funny!
Bad thing though, Mr. Johnson wasn't in his office after school, so I don't have my new dot sheets, so I'm going to be totally screwed tomorrow.
In Ceramics, the toe broke off of my footed pinch pot =( but Mrs. Tussy is going to fix it =) and I like my stamp! =D.

Waterworld
I forgot to post this yesterday. XD Anyways, it was SOOOOOOOOOO fun!!! So basically, when we got there, CK and I hopped on the first tall ride we could see, which was the raft slides. We went on three of them (did the fourth later, which was good, since it was the best one: Cyclone Falls) then went on the regular slides (#1 is the coolest) then went on the Tornado like, 3 times, then did the Honolulu Half Pipe 2 times, went to the lazy river thing, and the wave pool, then went to eat. Their food is good. Fruit salad, potato salad, burgers. hot dogs, ribs, and LOTS of ice cream! =P Then we sort of browsed the shops (I got Sour Punch Straws! CK got a bag of cotton candy, a 3-foot long gummy snake, a HUGE lollipop, 3 rock candies, and a tube of sour candy powder) then went back and ate cotton candy. After that, we got some airbrush tattoos with Jess and Jason (I got a blue dolphin on my belly, CK a pink unicorn on her ankle, Jess a purple mushroom on the belly, and Jason a blue teddy bear on his arm). Then we went back to the Half Pipe, did that twice again, went to the slides, did those like 3 times, then I went on both of the really tall slides while CK stuck to the lower, more reasonable ones, and they were AWESOME! If you lay down really flat, you go SOOOOO fast and totally wipe out at the end. It sort of hurts your backs though. Anyways, after that, we went on the Half Pipe again, the once on the Tornado, then it was time to go. =( It was SO awesome though! See my Facebook for pictures. =D

Breakfast/Carwash/Rummage Sale
So that was kind of fun today. Anyways, I was in charge of the books in the rummage sale, and I sold quite a few. =) Seeing as I was only there for 2 hours, and people were only there for about one, I'd say I sold a lot. I think I sold around... 12? Basically, whenever some person came over I'd recommend a book, and they'd usually buy it. XD I bought 8 for myself too. THEY HAD PATTERSON BOOKS! And a ton of murder mysteries. There were two more that I sort of wanted but I was afraid my parents would get pissed at me for buying 10, which was good that I didn't because my mom got mad at me for buying 8. Haha. Anyways, I'm currently reading The Door to December by Dean Koontz. It's really good. Sort of creepy, but really good.
Anyways, I'm going to Waterworld!!! W00t!!! =D I am SO going on all the rides! I remember when I went with Brandon in 3rd grade, I totally chickened out of the Half Pipe, since the drop was so steep. o.o But I'm doing EVERYTHING this time. Well, everything that's open. The Half Pipe, Tornado, those huge slides, EVERYTHING. It's going to be so much fun!

(Chinese) School
So in school today, we didn't do much.
In Mock Trial, we played Rock Band, and I failed miserably at the drums, which is really sad seeing as I should have good tempo and rhythm due to piano. But I kept hitting the edge of the drums, not the middle, so that was a problem. That was fun though.
In Ceramics, we finished up our stamps; mine looks hecka weird, with very... interesting designs and stuff. I like my footed pinch pot though! It's like a dragon sort of thing. I wanted to join 3D-Art though; they get to make wire constructions, paper mache, sculptures... Oh well. Ceramics is cool too.
Then English was... weird. I totally didn't get the Bonus Buck question [which was F.A.N.B.O.Y.S (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so] but whatever.
At lunch, I gave Jung his cupcakes (five of them which said: J, U, N, G, and (FU) =]) because it was his birthday. He was all like, "Did you spike them?" Haha. it was quite funny. So, once again,
Then on the carpool home, Ross and I started talking about diagramming sentences and how weird it was and everything. XP Then, for some reason, we got to talking about what PhD stands for. Neither of us knew, so after I got home, I searched it up on Google, then called him, and was like, "I know what PhD stands for now!" (It means Doctor of Philosophy, by the way.)
In Chinese school, we had a test, which half the people cheated on (haha) but whatever. Then Michael, Kim, and I were chucking little wads of paper at each other (we sit right next to one another, though) so it was quite funny. Then Stanley stole Kim's hat and yanked in onto my head (backwards), then when Kim took it back, he was all like, "NOOO! I wanted a picture of that!" It was just really random and awesome.
Anyways, my day was pretty cool! (For once.) I'm going to Waterworld this weekend! W00t! I'll upload pictures on Facebook, and write about it here.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JUNG!!!
Biology was fun too, we finished up our lab, and just talked, and listened to Mr. Pence argue with Spanish students about whether "horrito" or "en hora" was the proper way of saying "immediately" or "now." Turns out, we were right, and he was wrong. So he owes us Oreos now. XDThen on the carpool home, Ross and I started talking about diagramming sentences and how weird it was and everything. Brandon!
I saw Brandon again today! For those of you who don't know who he is, he was only my very best friend in like, 3rd and 5th grade. (I skipped 4th, and sort of ditched him for middle school in 6th. XD) Anyways, I saw him today at high school, since he was taking geometry! Happiness! It's sort of awkward talking to him though, since we haven't seen each other in like forever. But anyways, he still looks exactly the same, more or less, except him voice got deeper. That's expected though. Anyways, I SO did not expect to see him! I thought I'd have to wait until next year! So yeah, blissfulness! I am so going there every morning to pester him. Lol.
Anyways, we had a 12 minute swim today! Yay! Lol. I think we have another one on Thursday. o.o I only did 18 laps, but it's good enough for me. Apparently I beat Ross though. o.o Anyways, my legs are so friggin sore from swimming today and splits yesterday. -.- It's not even funny...

Guard Practice (Also First Day of Carpool)
Okay, I might end up venting here, even though I'm not exactly mad... Just very, very frustrated... at myself.
We learned so much friggin crap today, I don't even remember anything beyond the first 3 steps. I mean seriously, if you expect me to remember 48 steps of the opener, plus 72 steps for Diego's Goodbye, you are sadly mistaken. I'm so friggin pissed that I don't get ANYTHING we're doing, I always end up messing up somehow, then we have to start the whole thing over again. So friggin stupid. I'm better at swing flags though, no tosses, but I still get hella confused on all the lunges and turns and crap. Oh well. On a good note though, my uniform supposedly fits me very well, according to Kelly, which is sad because I'm wearing guy pants. XD But so is half the guard, so whatever. Plus, I can almost do the splits! Right AND left! Not so much center though... So basically, I'm okay at the flexibility part, and sucky at the actual flagwork.
First day of carpool today! I was seriously paranoid that I'd end up holding up my carpool, so I rushed through everything. Lol. But turns out, I was ready a good 5 minutes before Ross and his mom showed up. So all's well. Then like, Ross as sitting on the left, but I though he was sitting on the right, so I went to the left, we saw each other, and simultaneously moved to the right. It's like when you get blocked by someone in the hallway and you both moved to some side at the same time. It was hecka funny. Then Ross's mom was asking about Jess and how my mom didn't have to work, and it was sort of funny yet sad because you could sort of tell that she envies my mom for being able to sleep in and all (Ross' mom works), plus she feels sort of guilty for not being home when Ross gets home (she said I was lucky to have someone at home when I got home). But yeah, Ross' mom is cool. Basically, from now on, I'm no longer going to be afraid that I'll be late so I shall take my time getting up and sleep for an additional... 5 minutes. XD

Official Carpool!
So yeah, I'm carpooling with Ross from now on. Anyways, he (or rather, his mom) is going to pick me up in the mornings, and my mom's going to send us back in the afternoon. But yeah. Except my mom isn't sending us back tomorrow, since Ross has band practice, and guard practice doesn't start until 5. But anyways, I'm carpooling. Just saying. Haha.
I finished all my homework! W00t! Except I got the questions on my French Take Home Tutor right, and they said it was wrong on the summary. =( But Mme. Goldin doesn't care, she just wants to make sure you did it! I still have to study for the English quiz though. Which I'm still going to fail. But whatever.
By the way, Diego's Goodbye is the ballad that's the second part of our band/guard show. I totally love it. It's so emotional, and it reminds me of the dramas I watch. XD It actually makes me kind of want to cry...

Hot, Hot, HOT!!!
That was basically the single word sprinting through my mind for 5 hours today. We were out in like 105 degree heat, MARCHING, and listening to people yell at us for not marching fast enough. Uh, dude, you're not walking around in the sun. -.-' But it was so annoying, we only got 3 water breaks for 4 hours. Then we had lunch (THANK GOD), and we all stayed inside for 2 hours from 1-3 pm (band was playing music, guard was with swing flags!) I got yelled at quite a bit today, because we went from the opener to the ballad (which is extremely emotional) the to indoors, then back to the opener, which I had sort of forgot... Then at the end, the drum majors were like, "Good job, you guys did so well," which is total BS seeing as they were basically screaming at us the whole time. At least Kelly was honest and said we sucked. Not in so few words, but that's the main point.
Damn, I have so much friggin homework! I still haven't really started. Math I finished, thank goodness, trying to do French as of now, and I have an English test on Monday, which I am totally going to fail... Plus I need to play piano even more tomorrow because I didn't play today, and my mom's giving me a break (=O) because I have so much homework, so I'll be stuck with that for like 6 hours tomorrow. And Chinese, which I have quite a lot, plus a test. But that on Friday. Ugh. I don't want to draw and describe a stupid island for Foss. It's like, what the hell? Oh wells. Back to French. Cya guys!

Coolio Schoolio! (Not really)
So at school today, I was so totally in a daze. I don't remember half the stuff we did, besides the quiz in Mock Trial, pop quiz in Adv. Algebra 2, quiz in French, and butterfly in PE! Fun! For the butterfly, I was totally like, "What the hell am I supposed to be doing? o.o" Then I totally failed the math quiz, since I knew like nothing about element and subsets. But during lunch, Kevin (both of them) came over and asked me to go to the park to play tennis (which I found out I couldn't, due to Chinese homework and tutoring), and Kevin was like, "Make sure Ross come okay?" And I was just sort of... "So... am I supposed to go up the street and drag him to the park?" It was quite funny. Then Kevin (K.) was trying to say "Yo mei yo wen ti?" which means "Is there a problem?" except it sounded like "Ya mai yo wun tee?" so I had to ask Kevin (Y.) for a translation. Then Kevin (K.) was like, "Oh, I went to Ross' house yesterday, so I know where you live now!" and he said my house was blue. -.- Who owns a blue house? Please speak up now.
Anyways, Chinese school was AWESOME today! Basically, we had an Ice Cream Social (free Haagen-Dazs ice cream!) before school started, and they had snow cones too, so I ate like 4 cups of strawberry ice cream and one chocolate, then Stanley dumped this wet slush (melted snow cone ice) on my head, so we started this huge ice fight. So fun. Then actual school was okay, but when the teacher had a parent-teacher conference (back to school night sort of thing), Michael, Kim, Stanley, and I were toally beating each other up with these cute panda heart blow up things we got at the social. Basically, Kim and I kept whacking Michael with them, Stanley kept chucking his at us, and I kept beating them away. But it was sooooooo fun!
On a sadder note, I have SO. MUCH. HOMEWORK. It's not even funny. Like Mock Trial is the witness statement and crap, Ceramics 1 is nothing (yay!), Adv. Algebra 2 is like 4 pags of word problems/equations/inequalities plus a Ch. 1 test, Adv. English 9 is this packet of crap plus a story to read (which we'll have ANOTHER "quiz" on Monday), PE is nothing (what would she assign? XD), Biology is just getting our donations and books, and French is reviewing vocab plus Take Home Tutor. Not to mention Chinese, where we have two worksheets, a book report, and a test. All on the second day of school (if you look at it literally). Plus I have Band/Guard camp tomorrow from 9-4. Which sucks so bad... But whatever. Ugh.

Even Days Officially Suck
So like, my even day back pack is SO huge! It's not even funny. It'll get better after my PE swim unit's over, but still. So anyways, so far, this is my even day backpack mess:
1) Mock Trial binder
2) Adv. Algebra 2 binder and book
3) PE swimsuit, goggles, and a BIG towel
4) French binder, book, and two workbooks
As opposed to odd days, where it's just 3 hella light binders and one book. Oh well. That's why we have lockers. XD Anyways, today was pretty much okay. Band/Guard practice was sort of weird though. I totally screwed up on drill. -.-' And we're starting new drill on Saturday, whereas I don't even know the first like, 10 sets of our opener. I'll survive though... somehow... hopefully.
Oh but I got the hard copies of the professional pics from Taiwan! My mom folded one to fit it into a frame that she didn't even end up using though, and it was one of my favorite pics too! My second favorite one, or maybe even first, as a matter of fact. I was hecka pissed. But whatever. You can't see it in the new frame, so I guess it's okay. I'm bringing all the pictures to school tomorrow! Yay!

Carpooling
So apparently my friend Ross still walks home everyday (from Cal High, it takes like, half an hour to get home. Or more. I've never tried it. XD) since I think both his parents work. So anyways, he lives right up the street from me, and I MEAN right up the street. So my mom was asking him (through me) if he wanted a ride, but he kept declining, although I can't imagine why he would, except for the fact that 1) he doesn't want to trouble us (but come on! You live up the road!) and 2) he thinks I'm some weird, crazy girl whom you shouldn't get close too. I prefer to think it's the first option, but hey, the second has a chance of being true too. =P
So I got home and mailed him, and was all like, WHY DO YOU NOT WANT A RIDE?! See that he lives right up the road add it to thirty or more minutes of walking and think about the 90-100 degree temperature lately and you've got yourself a pretty strong case. So then he mailed me back, and was like, what about carpooling? But like, my dad has to go to work and goes that way anyways, so my mom was all like, just tell him we'll give him rides back. But I don't think he's going to let us (not that we're going to try to drag him into the car or anything, unless it's like hella hot outside, or pouring, cuz we wouldn't want him to get sick) without having some means to pay us back. I mean, I get the whole "I owe you one" urge, especially predominant in Asians (not racist; it's true) but seriously. HE LIVES UP THE ROAD! Okay. Done venting now.
By the way, my sis cut my hair again! W00t! I actually got to pick my hairstyle now, so I got like, two inches chopped off and side bangs! I love it. =)

Back to School Tomorrow... Again... -.-'
I am seriously not ready for school to start again. Ugh. SO. FREAKING. ANNOYING. At least I finished my math and French homework... English not so much. I'll be cramming today. XD I seriously can't wait for Thanksgiving Break in like... a month and a half already. Which is pathetic, seeing as we haven't really learned anything in any of my classes, excluding the three aforementioned. Okay, well whatever. School's not that bad... I seriously still wish I had Kinavey though... Listening to my friends talk about how awesome he is doesn't help either...
Well, last Friday was the first day of Chinese school (like, the last day of the first week of school is the first day of school. Lol. Okay, nevermind.), so I got to see Michael and Kim again. They haven't really changed. Lots of people have though, like Michelle got her hair permed so she looks really different now. I found out Stanley's going into 9th grade too. I didn't know that before... o.o Anyways, our new teacher seems pretty nice. We're actually going to have to learn in her class though... Which kind of sucks. I hope our old teacher comes back next year. Lol. But like, we can chew gum in her class, which is kind of cool. We already have to write an essay though. Next week's the Ice Cream Social! Yay! Kim and I are going to volunteer, and I think Michael is too. Free ice cream for everyone! But we get to gorge ourselves, and steal all the good prizes. XD Jaykay.
