Studying Abroad?
I learned that chem majors have the option of studying abroad in the spring of junior year. Which is sounding super appealing especially since there's a program at the University of Edinburgh, which hosts the IIP I've been attempting to get for the past two years...
I just don't know if it's what I want to do. When I heard of the biochem exchange at Oxford, I really wanted to go but knew I couldn't, since junior fall for chem majors is not planned for study abroad (we have core lab and other mandated courses). Unfortunately the program doesn't exist for spring semester. I also don't know if my decision is being influenced by the fact that so many of my friends are going and have gone abroad.
There are so many classes I want to take here, and also certificates I would earn as a result, but I don't think I would be able to fit all those classes in my schedule if I were to study abroad. I honestly just don't know. I'll talk to Dr. L'Esperance about it come advising time I guess, and see if it's feasible, try to figure out if it's what I want, and pray to God to see if it's in His plans for me.

PTX@TheElectricFactory
Got to go see Pentatonix with Matt and Nicole! Super amazing and totally worth the loss of working time (even though it's going to make today pretty rough...). They were so good! Ahhh I can't even. The opening with Daft Punk was the *best.*

381 Bloomberg!
Drew into a quad of singles in Bloomberg, with a share plan in Charter! By Poe field, private bathroom, apparently pretty spacious and nice. I haven't seen it yet but apparently it's pretty nice. =] Super excited to room with Christie, Kellyn, and Michelle (Chang and Tan depending on the semester!). Planning on going to check it out sometime this week when I find a spare moment.
On the other hand, physics quiz today was horrible. =[ Oh well.

Being Hit with Tears
I've honestly been crying so much lately, both good and bad. From stress, from fear, from anger, from sadness. From joy and being overwhelmed with beauty. From being happy about how wonderful life is and how good God is to me. I can't be this unstable. This unpredictable. I can't let my emotions control me.
I really don't get it and I hate myself for being so emotionally unstable. I hate myself for hurting the people around me with my erratic behavior. But at the same time, it's so amazingly hard to stop. It's almost like suppressing am unconscious reaction. Like keeping your hand on a hot stove, where doing so hurts, but if you jerk away, you end up slapping people you care about.
I don't know what's going on, and I don't know what to do. And I know I need to look to God, and I want His help, I want His strength, but I just have so little faith sometimes...
God, please help me.

Break break break
It's almost over. D= It's been a rough week, lots of work still yet to be done and a physics quiz for which I have absolutely no knowledge of the material... And a paper left to write. And some problem sets. Gahhhh.
It's going to be a good day though. Get some work done, go to Chick-Fil-A, maybe Rocks State Park tonight. It'll be fun. SO MUCH WORK THOUGH. GAHHHH.

Just Because It Isn't Happening Here...
A ridiculously powerful short on what it would be like if the US were war-torn like Syria. I keep coming back to it...
CHS Confessions
Instead of doing my chem summaries, I spent the last half hour responding to a post on CHS Confessions about college acceptances. I wrote like an essay. Woops. But since I wrote an essay, and since it might be beneficial for you all, here's the link.

#100HappyDays
I haven't been posting much on this blog, but assuming you're also friends with me on Facebook (which I think is a safe assumption, since who else would be reading my blog? Correct me if I'm wrong!) or following me on Instagram (eytsai95), I'm doing this #100HappyDays challenge where I post a picture a day for (guess what?) 100 days. It'll be a good way to think of all the blessings in my life, and also to give friends who don't go to Princeton a glimpse, however small, into my life during those times I'm too busy to blog or posts statuses.
