I keep re-checking my SAT score. It's just so unbelievable... I can't help but think that one day, my score will change and College Board will send me an e-mail apologizing for messing up my score...
On the other hand, I hope I do just as well (or close enough) on the ACT tomorrow! It'd be awesome to get a 36 with a 12 essay, but missing one question gives you a 35 for that section, so... -shrugs- I'll just try my best. =]

I srsly doubt they read SAT essays. They barely have time to read all the actual applications, I doubt that they're gonna bother to go through any single person's SAT essay. If they do, they go through everyone's, but I've never heard of colleges doing that, so I think you're safe. It's just one court case, no one's gonna hold that against you. I can't believe you actually remembered court cases for ACT essay. Whenever I see the essay topic, I have a complete mental lapse and forget anything and everything that I could possibly say on the subject, were I just to be speaking with someone face to face. I hate translating thoughts into written words. They never seem to come out just right.
This was an unnecessarily long comment for your post. I think it's actually as long as, or a tad bit longer than the actual post itself. XD
