SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...and yet I still have homework... =( Oh well. Anyways, I haven't posted in a while, so technically it's been summer break for like... two weeks? But anyways, I finished all my piano testing on the 18th, and now I just have a big huge French 2 textbook to get through, and two activity workbooks on the same subject. Joy. But, on the flip side...
I GET MORE THAN 8 HOURS OF SLEEP EVERY NIGHT!!!
It's like a miracle. Well, technically, my schedule is still off, since I go to bed at like 12 or later, and wake up at like 2. But whatever. Anyways, I have a tennis camp thing to go to, in which I will be pathetically pulverized by six year olds better at tennis than I am. Then I have library volunteering, in which I happily explain steps of the summer reading program to kids and parents millions of times, attack adults the moment they walk through those sensor things to get them to sign up for the ADULT summer reading program, and pester teenagers I know to talk to me for a while and put me out of my misery.
Anyways, past that, here's my summer to-do list:
1) French 2... a year's worth of education crammed into less than 2 months. (And we all know I'm going to procrastinate.)
2) Volunteering (at a multitude of places.)
3) Learn how to play tennis
4) Learn how to SWIM (freestyle, even though I suck at every other style too... yes, that includes doggy paddling.)
5) Attend some Colorguard seminars (even though we all know that I would make a sucky Colorguard-er. That's not a word, is it...)
Somehow, I think I'm going to have a highly disorganized summer... DX

Welcome to My Life
Hectic.
Chaos.
Pandemonium.
FUN!
Yup, that's my life. Anyways, between my last post and now, I officially turned thirteen! W00t! We didn't do anything though, as always. My friends got me an iPod nano. I was all like, OMG. You're kidding. But yeah, my friends are awesome. Then we had like two projects due, one of which is worth over 100 points (the Mirrors Book, I turned it in early though, go extra credit! It saves my grade ;D), so that kind of sucked. Then today, I wrote up a petition for yearbooks.
So the thing is, usually 8th graders get their yearbooks a day earlier than the 6th and 7th graders, but this year we have to get then on the same day. So that kind of annoyed most of the IHMS 8th graders in geometry, so we thought we should do something about it, and we figured a petition would work. And since I can write formally (go me! XD) I typed up the petition, which has sentences like "We, the 8th graders of Iron Horse Middle School, hereby present this petition that we should be granted the right to receive our yearbooks a day earlier than the remainder of the student body," and "We do not believe that we should be denied the privilege which had been granted to all of the students before us." I was so proud of it. XD Then Pink Bunny and Courtney (whom I shall fondly refer to as "Mute Girl" from now on), and I ran around getting signatures from 8th graders (and a few 7th, since it support our case. The 7th graders aren't benefiting, but they still support it, so...)and we got a grand total of 200. It was awesome. But the Mrs. Adragna, since she's in charge of Yearbook (the class), got kind of mad and declared that anyone who signed the petition would get their yearbooks LATE. So then one person backed out, so technically we only had 199 signatures. Mrs. Adragna's not allowed to do that though, since we're merely expressing our opinions in a formal, educated way.
Then we presented it to Mrs. Cooper, our principle, and she said it was a good idea and she'd talk to the other administrators about it. I don't know if she was serious or not though.
We had a CJSF meeting after school too, which wasn't too exciting, but then we had a Math Olympiad reunion! We got FOOD! Mrs. Cooper was funny, she was like, "We have Girl Scout cookies, apple juice, and... some healthy Chewy things..." You know those Chewy bar things? Well, if you don't they're basically granola with stuff, like raisins, chocolate chips, etc. depending on what you buy. Anyways, the oatmeal raisin Chewy bars are soooo good!
Then, I have a Presidential Breakfast thing tomorrow, where we get special awards for getting straight A's and stuff, so I GET TO SKIP MATH! To eat. XD But it's all good. Then there's only like 5 more days of school left (not including weekends obviously), since the 11th is our Promotion Ceremony, and on the 12th the 8th graders are going to Great America. So there's a ton of stuff to look forward to these last few days.
But then again, I have a French final tomorrow and the day after, a history final on Thursday, and a math final on Monday. So those kind of cancel out some excitement. I think I'm fine on French (I'm pretty sure I'll at least get a B, which would still kind of suck, but I pass!), and math I should do okay, but I have to review. History, on the other hand, I am so going to fail. Mrs. Goodhue's tests are soooo hard! She calls a 100 question assessment a quiz, and her tests are like 150 questions. I bet her exam is either going to be HECKA hard, or there will be like 500 questions on there... :( Oh well. Anyways, welcome to my awesome life (and it's also an awesome song, "Welcome to My Life," that is) and if you don't mind, please step out of my life now, because I have to go study. (Yeah, I know, so Asian. XD)

Hey Guys!
I haven't posted in so long! Well, ten days, but it seems like forever! I've been so busy! Civil War Day was awesome, albeit really, really hot. Friday was Courtney's birthday, and we planned a party in band for her! It was awesome, I had a cake and everything. It was Rae's birthday too, but I didn't know that... :( Oh well, it was AWESOME! Then Kim had to ask out Michael, but that wasn't really fun, and it didn't have a really nice ending, even though it could have been worse. Now, I'm doing my stupid Mirrors Book, which is CRAP, and over achievers like Alex have already finished theirs (actually, I think Alex is the only one), and they look really good too! I hate them... XD

Civil War Day Tomorrow!
Yay! It's Civil War Day Tomorrow! For you people that don't know what that is, basically all the Core classes are divided into sides, Union or Confederate. Then we play a big huge game of dodgeball / capture the flag where the "dodgeballs" are flour bombs! It's going to be AWESOME!!! I'm seriously going to burn to death though, I have to wear dark blue (Union), and sit under a blazing tarp for 3 hours before I get to play! To top things off, it's going to be 105 degrees tomorrow (or so they say). Oh well, it's going to be soooooooooo fun!

A Dream
These past few days have seriously felt just like a dream. Like, every day passes fast, yet slow at the same time, and everything's gone pretty well, yet not so well. It's really, really weird. Oh well. Mirrors Books SUCK! I don't want to write random crap... It's retarded. *sighs* Well, I'm going to go read some HP Fanfic, since the actual books are done. Then I have to go sleep. XD

Hiyas!
I've been soooo busy lately! Stupid mirrors books (a ton of writing and crap...) and my French project (which is due on Monday, and I haven't even started it). Life is cool though, nothing's really bad or anything. I went to UC Davis for a CJSF (California Junior Scholarship Federation) trip, and that was fun. We're starting to learn to march for Civil War day, and the orders are stuck in my head... ("Left...Left...Left...Left, right, left...) Ugh, it's SO annoying! Oh well, I can't wait until Courtney's birthday! I'm going to go to school with a cake. XD Which reminds me, Brandon's birthday is this Friday, and it sucks because I don't have time to get him anything. Plus, my parents were like, "Well, you never see him anymore..." It's so friggin STUPID. Sure, I don't see him, but just because we don't see each other doesn't mean we're not friends. Grr... I swear, I'm just going to have to get him a present late, when I find time to go somewhere and buy him something... I'm going to have to walk though, so around Target area I guess? I'm probably getting him a book... Oh well, anyways, I have to start my French project and study for my Chinese exam (125 points! >=() as well as bake cupcakes and take a shower. XD

Civil War Presentation
OMG sooooooo much stress! This was pretty fun though, but that not the point. My stupid PowerPoint had to CRASH, then uncrash AFTER I made a poster. >:( Oh well, the presentation itself was awesome.
I made a cannon too, a spring-loaded one. It actually shot! Only like two feet though... Anyways, I was in this dark blue jacket, light blue pants, and the Union cap I bought, so it was like a crappy version of a Civil War Union outfit. So I was showing off my poster and my PowerPoint at the same time (I would never let all that stress and hard-work and hours of screaming at my computer go to waste), but Peter was kind of off on the PowerPoint, so every few minutes I'd be like, "Peter, go back!" Lol. It was fun though. I can't wait until tomorrow, when Courtney goes, and she gets to saw off my hand! (Even though it's a fake hand...)

Life as of Now
We have sooooo much homework! I swear, the teachers are tyring to murder us with immense workloads or something! Haha, posting on School Loop (that's a homework site, of which our school is using) is really fun though! I seriously don't want STAR Testing, Adv. English / History Testing (April 16), my speech contest, and the Civil War project. Ugh, so much stuff to do.
I had a dream last night, and it was the weirdest thing ever, so now I have no idea what it means... It's just, I wouldn't dream about a topic unless I actually cared about it and there's a reason for the events in the dream, right? So now I'm just really confused...
I must go do homework now, there's so much to be done!

Great America!!!!
The rollercoasters were so much fun!!!! Yay!!! I didn't want to go on them at first, but Peter dragged/kept egging me on, so I was like, "Okay, fine." And, OMG, it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fun!!! Haha, I didn't realy want to The rollercoasters were AWESOME!!! I still don't like looking down when we're at this huge drop, but they're sooooooo much fun!!! Anyways, I went on the Vortex, White Water Rapids, Waterfall Drop-thing, Log Run, Orbit, Survivor - The Ride, Grizzly, Demon, and some other stuff. I didn't get to go in Invertigo or Top Run though, I am SO going when we go back for graduation! I just can't wait! Haha, I went to Chinese school right after and it felt like I was still on Demon, since I went 3 times before we left. XD Anyways, I LOVE rollercoasters!!! W00t!!!

Great America Tomorrow!!!
Yay! I'm so excited!!! I can't wait to go to Great America, even though we have to play first, and I don't really like roller coasters! Oh well, they're fun!!! Anyways, I'm so excited! I need something to do on the bus though, I don't have an Ipod or anything... Well here's the stuff I'm going to bring:
~ Flute and music (obviously)
~ Change of clothes + plastic bag
~ Money (Wallet)
~ Cell phone
~ Camera
~ Eyedrops and chapstick
Anyways, it's a little list of random crap, but it's going to be soooo fun! I'm going to take pictures and put them on Facebook. I'll post tomorrow. Bye! (OH! I just remembered why the Great America rides were so familiar; I went there with Brandon! And we went on like every single water ride together, it was so fun!!! Haha, we got soaked, and almost trampled in the Great Barrier Reef.)
Ooh right, Seohyun's friends, Marcel and Austin taught me how to type with symbol things, |1|<3 +|-|1$. Haha, it's really fun. (@|\| `/0|_| |_||\||)3R$+@|\||) +|-|1$? |0|...

Bowling
I went to Danville Bowl and bowled there with Seohyun, Michelle, Lucy, Jillian, Jasmine (Jillian's little sis), Vivian, and Sean (Vivian's little bro). Anyways, I SUCKED the first 2 games, then was average the 3rd game, and I tied for first with Jillian in the last game! Yay! Haha, Jillian like threw the ball underhand, literally THREW it, and got 2 strikes that way! XD Our computer glitched on us so much though, for the 2nd game, everytime Michelle got a gutter ball, it'd show up as a strike! XD Anyways, before we bowled, I played the shooting game thing with Sean, and spent like $6 there. I think went a bit crazy shooting, because everyone was like, "WTF Erica?!" Haha, then Seohyun took over for Sean, and she's almost as crazy as me, but I go crazier, because I only sort of aim, so I need to reload every 10 seconds. I win that way though! Then Vivian's all like, "What's up with you smart people? You guys are so violent!" But yeah, it was really fun today. Ooh right, and I got $20 in quarters (that's 80 quarters) because I was bored and fed a $20 bill into the change machine!!! W00t! Check out my Facebook for pictures if you're curious. :D

Fun at the Park
Anyways, Kevin, "Wooky," Dylan, Seohyun, Pink Bunny, and I all went to the park today! Pink Bunny was late by like 15 minutes though. Oh well, anyways, we played basketball and got owned by the guys in the first half of the first game, since I didn't know what to do or how to play and just kind of ran around uselessly. Then in the second half, we ALMOST caught up! I got fouled by Dylan like 2 times though. XD
Then we went to Subway's since the guys wanted drinks, whereas the girls were smart and brought our own water bottles. Then, Pink Bunny threw the soccer ball at Kevin, and it hit his hand, since OBVIOUSLY he's not going to catch the ball with one hand when he's holding a full cup, and basically, half his drink spilled and everyone got mad at Pink Bunny. Kevin kept getting called 'gay' though, and I credit him for not getting extremely mad after 3 hours of it, along with the soccer ball / drink incident. Anyways, then we went to Round Table and ate Maui Zaui pizza, which was yummy, even though I wasn't hungry and Pink Bunny made me eat a slice... which took me the same amount of time to finish as two slices for everyone else. Then Pink Bunny bought Cold Stone's and we went back to the park for basketball, Round Two!
We beat the guys 22-20 in that game, which was kind of cool, since I'd never played a game of basketball in my life. I've only watched, and shot baskets. Pink Bunny saw one of her former 'friends' there, Amy, who backstabbed her, so that was really... awkward. Plus the fact that Amy and her friends stayed there and watched us play and talked, which was just kind of annoying. But back to the point, I got fouled by Dylan AGAIN. Then Pink Bunny had to leave, so we all took a breather and Seohyun and I went to the water fountain. Then, we came back and decided to play soccer for a while.
So basically, the goalposts were locked to a pole, so we just used trees as the markers. Then it was guys vs. girls once again! But then Kevin had to leave before anyone shot anything, so it was lopsided. So we played Seohyun and me vs. Dylan, where we sort of beat him, but not really, since it's 2 vs. 1. Then "Wooky" didn't want to be goalie so I became goalie, but I SUCKED. Like, I didn't block ANY shots. XD So then it was Dylan and me vs. Kevin, and Seohyun as goalie, except she quit before we actually played that much, so it was back to Seohyun and me vs. Dylan. Then Dylan kicked the ball and it hit me smack on the face, so I was like...Ow... XD Then 2:30 P.M. came around so we all left.
All in all, it was an awesome day, even though it seriously confirmed my suspicions that I'm just not made to play, and have extremely bad luck in, sports.
