Night Markets + Typhoon!
Makes for some interesting shopping. Rained pretty hard today... But at least I got good deals on the things I bought, just because no one was out shopping. xD In my defense, it was good weather when I left...
In any case, I've bought quite a few shirts and shoes. I still need to get some things though... Rain boots for sure. Maybe a white purse + side purse, black shorts, khaki shorts, gray jeans... Whatever else I can find that I could wear really. I need new clothes for college, especially since Princeton is you know, Ivy League preppy. =P Ah well, I should be okay. If not, I'll just buy more clothes.

Wandering Down Creepy Alleys
Met Calvin today - he's pretty chill. Completely fails at pool. It's amazing. Watching him play pool was more fun than actually playing pool...
Went to Danshui, wandered around randomly. Went into random shops. Took up forever to find Hong Lou, and had to ask a ton of people. Went down a LOT of creepy dark alleys. Blowing winds and rustling trees didn't help either. But we made it there and it was pretty gorgeous. It's apparently three restaurants though, which my uncle definitely didn't tell me...

Such Freedom
I currently am pretty much here alone with my grandparents/aunt/uncle. My sister and dad are back in the states and my mom is with my maternal grandparents whom we visited already. (I feel sort of bad for not going, but there's really nothing to do there, and we've already seen them, so... =\)
Anyways, I'm just sort of lounging around, eating food, watching TV, and there's nobody to tell me to go to bed now etc. And I have my own room! xD In any case, it's nice being able to go out via the MRT by myself and hang out with friends and stuff without everyone worrying all the time.
Comes with getting older and having to go to college I suppose - people are trusting you to take care of yourself more. It's nice. =]

Running Still Isn't Fun
Freaking Lawrence. xD I tried a 7:20 minutes mile pace today. Got through 2 laps and 3/4 of the 3rd before having to stop. Completely lightheaded, couldn't see straight, stumbled around for the next 5 minutes. Such a bad idea.
I think I'll just stick with a 8 minute mile... For now.

Just Keep Running...
Ran like 4 miles today. Fastest time was 7:47, almost fainted afterward. -sighs- I need to get down to a 7:20 in the next week or two. Freaking blah. I'm going to be so dead...
At least I'll hopefully get fit... Been too lazy during high school, must become healthy. xD

Aimless Wandering
Went out with Eric and Wayne today in a worse-planned day than the first one, which is saying something... xD Ate at Sogo, then planned on going on the gondola ride by Taipei zoo but the thing broke. =\ So we then proceeded to ride the MRT for an hour and a half while we figured out what to do. Ended up going back to the Sports Center and playing more pool... I won three games of cutthroat! One of which ended with all five of my balls on the table - it was amazing.
Highlights of the day -
~ Trying to find a table for lunch
~ "But I do debate!"
~ Eric imitating Wayne's awkward dance even more awkwardly
~ Talking about Wayne's liking me two years ago
~ Talking about how they asked their prom dates
Mainly just Eric's failing today. It was pretty funny...

Anyong Haseyo!
In Korea! =] Having quite a bit of fun with the tour, though it's a lot of sitting in the bus. Going to pretty awesome places, and taking SO many pictures... It's sort of insane. I guess the good thing about being on a tour is being able to go to lots of scenic places without wasting time finding out how to get there/planning.
Kimchi is everywhere. I'm not kidding.
Korea's pretty fun; like Japan, there are a lot of guys here who resemble movie stars. I think the difference is that Korean people resemble stars I've seen, whereas Japanese people look like they could be movie stars but I haven't seen a resemblance to anyone.
Went to Lotte's World today - it's like an amusement park. Had a pretty awesome time with the other people on the tour (fortunately there are tons of people semi-around my age - there are four college guys and two girls in high school).

Yay Exploring!
Ximending with Wayne and Eric today. =] Got lost so much. But Modern Toilet Restaurant! Teehee, It's so much fun. xD Their tea is way too sweet though, and their food is just average. But the experience was really funny. And leave it to Wayne to order a huge dessert that he barely even touched... xD
Went bowling in a shady place - we completely sucked. I beat both of them with a 66. xD Eric was stuck at 39 for three frames, and Wayne kept getting 0 on his second ball for the last half of the game.
The pool place was even shadier though... So many smokers and teenage guys that looked like they could be in gangs. xP We also completely sucked at pool too. Finished a game then went outside - Taiwan air has never smelled better, with all its pollution and humidity...
Played a cleaner and better game of pool at ZhongShan Sports Center. =]
Ate food at a mall by Taipei Main Station. Omnomnom. And had some yummy ice cream!
Might head down to Hsinchu with Eric to visit Wayne when I get back from Korea. But as for now, anyong!

Matsuda Shota
I've gone through so many of his dramas in the past week... Liar Game 1/2, Liar Game: The Final Stage, Liar Game Reborn, Love Shuffle, Jotei, Ikigami... Teehee he's gorgeous. xP I like his better with long hair though, and I definitely like Akiyama the most out of his characters. Well, I think I'll put him on reserve for a while so I can watch some Korean dramas in preparation for my Korea trip in a few days! =D

Japan!
Everyone here dresses really well. The food is amazing, but there's not too much shopping to do. Rather, there's a lot of shopping but everything is super expensive. =P People watching is fun though - there are tons of attractive people here. Half the girls look like dolls, and I've seen so many drama guy look-alikes too. A lot of dyed hair and good style. I feel super out of place though. xD But it's fun. =]

OMG Shoes
Lots of night market shopping today! Bought lots of shoes. They're like $10, so you know, might as well load up - I'm sure I'll wear them sometime... =P Got some clothes too, but it's so hard to find good things here... Too many shops and bags of stuff and people... I also found some stalls completely full of doll-like clothes, so Clarie, that's where she gets them. xP
On the other hand, apparently Jess's hair is so dead, the straight perm didn't reallly work. At least that's what the store people told us... Speaking of which, our visit today reaffirmed my belief that that one hairstylist stepped out of a drama. He was probably a model before - I didn't realize how tall he was yesterday. But anyways, he was in total drama clothes, like a dress shirt, tie, studded jeans, and boots. Looked sort of out of place, but totally would have fit in Magicians of Love, aha. Anyways, it was interesting. I hope my hair doesn't end up being all kinked and yucky too later...
Off to Japan tomorrow! =]
